Vive Therapy Putty - Theraputty, Therapeutic, Occupational and Exercise Tool for Stress - Finger, Hand Grip Strength Exercises - Extra Soft, Medium, Firm Resistance (6 Count (Pack of 1))

I broke my hand a few months ago and my physio recommended this putty for rehabilitation as I'm struggling with one of my fingers which was badly broken. I looked at all the different options in terms of quantity, variety and cost and this pack definitely came out on top with 6 different ones for just under £20. I had to start with the XXsoft and have now worked up to the Xsoft for my finger workouts. I bought the multipack as I want to get my hands really strong and supple so will keep going until I can do all my exercises with the top / strongest one. Apart from broken fingers, I will continue to use this putty as it's great stuff for hand strength for musicians. You think your hands are strong until you do the small individual movements for more than a few seconds. Then you find out how much work you have to do! Each pot is 18oz which is a good lump in the palm. A lot of the others I looked at had much smaller pots of putty and I wanted a good lump to get hold of. Absolutely nothing negative to say about this product. I can see me using it for a long time to come. I've been thinking about it for a long time for finger / hand exercise, it's just a shame I had to break something to get around to it. If you're thinking about getting some, this brand is excellent.

I recently broke my wrist, and my physio recommended getting some physio putty, I found these online and like he suggested I went for a set with various strengths. I started off with the xx soft just squeezing and rolling my strength is already starting to improve and have now started using the x soft and have incorporated the stretching between 2 fingers. I appreciate the exercises included which are exactly as my physio recommended for me. I still have pain but it is slowly reducing and keeping my hand as flexible as my injury allows. I'm looking forward to the day I can start using the firm but at the moment it's a long way off. I find myself reaching for this set when watching the tv, even my good hand benefits from this set preventing cramps. I'm hoping it will help to also prevent arthritis. I was surprised when first starting that the xx soft felt hard for me to do but that's just because my hand was so weak, I do compare between my good hand and my weaker hand but I have found that now I can handle a soda can much easier than before. I do need to persevere but with this excellent set and a little but often attitude I'm sure my hand will get to where it was before I injured it.

Unlike other reviewers I disagree that the x x soft is really soft. I don’t think it’s softer than the x soft and for the first two months of my De Quervains I would not have been able to exercise with this brand because my hand was too painful. They aren’t anywhere near as soft as my first purchase which I kneaded into oblivion. Out of all my various exercises therapy putty is the one thing that has put me on the road to recovery over and above anything else. For the stage I am now at, these putties are good.

I’m really happy with this Vive Therapy Putty set. The different resistance levels are super helpful, and the colors make it easy to grab the right one quickly. I originally bought it for hand-strengthening, but it’s become one of my favorite tools for helping my kids calm and regulate when we’re out and about. The texture gives them something soothing to focus on, and it holds up really well even with frequent use. The containers are sturdy, the putty doesn’t dry out, and the whole set feels like great quality. Definitely worth it for anyone who needs a simple, portable sensory tool.

This was recommended to me by a school SENCO for my child who is a sensory seeker. He had been using slime as a fidget toy but it was really messy, this is so much better.

Very good for rehabilitation hand therapy after a stroke. Gets the flexibility, dexterity and strength in the fingers. Best to use a plastic chopping board to sit on your knee. Tubs clearly marked, non sticky.

I do various grappling martial artforms so hand health is imperative. I incorporate this putty into my rehab hand workouts at least twice a week. The putty helps with both grip strength and alleviating pain or cramps in my hand after a tough session. I'd definitely recommend this to martial artists for light hand rehabilitation.

Seems to be a quality product, however it has came with x2 X-soft putties and the X-firm one is missing. Since I am using this to build finger strength, I would like to have the complete set. Could not find any way to say this directly, without it being in review form.
