I purchased this specifically to get some dates shredded. Unfortunately this piece of machine does not stand up to the task. I was thinking of returning it and getting something similar but electric but I have read reviews that they cannot be used for a long amount of time, bulky, break etc.. so I left it. I used it again for veggies and fruit, ham, chicken and it does the job well. Just a bit annoyed that I couldn’t use it for what I intended to.

OXO Good Grips Manual Food Processor, Clear, White In the box. The chopper and instructions. It has a suction cup on the bottom to stop it slipping. Set up. Just put the veg in, put on the top and use it. In use. It is so easy to use and very effective for small amounts. It is easy and fast to use. It is much easier than getting the big electric one out and finding and fitting the right attachment. It is also much easier to clean than the big electric one. Overall. Does the job well, it is well made, easy to clean and uses no power. Brilliant and simple kitchen gadget.

The suction wasn’t strong enough, each time the handle was turned the item came away from the worktop!

This product is really good for soft foods like mushrooms, peppers, and onions. But do not use this for harder vegetables like carrots as the handle can and will break! The design behind the slightly curved blades is clever as it helps to mix up whatever is inside. I will buy another one but not for more than £30 as it isn't worth any more than that.

This OXO manual food processor is surprisingly useful. Small enough to sit out on your kitchen workspace all the time, it's super easy to use and clean. I find myself using it for all chopping tasks.

A useful product that doesn’t take up too much cupboard space. Just roughly chop then put in the blender chamber and turn the handle. It very quickly, very finely chops. I have only tried it on veg but it’s especially useful for finely chopping chillis and onions which I hate doing by hand. The blades are surprisingly sharp so be very careful when washing it - I cut my finger the first time..

Good quality build and good features. Used it to cut potatoes, carrots, onion, tomatoes, mushrooms... all work well. Not to overload and move clockwise to cut.... sometimes anti clockwise abit and then clockwise to allow smooth operation.

Compact and easy to store, works great. Only issue is the suction doesn’t work on a marble countertop.
