Vlieseline/Vilene Interfacing Iron On - Medium F220 / 304 - White - Per Metre

Lovely soft interfacing definitly light weight not medium weight as per description. Very easy to use fuses instantly.

Beautifully soft interfacing as needed for many dress making projects. The item was one day late to arrive, however I did receive notification of this and have rated it as 5 stars as I feel that it was handled well. Would definitely recommend this.

I used this to pad and stiffen a small bag. It cuts cleanly with sharp scissors. I pressed it slowly onto cotton under a pressing cloth with a hot steam iron. The glue fused well. The outer layers above the fused face may separate if not treated carefully, especially on corners. I would suggest quilting or tacking the interfacing down where possible to give it strength and then covering it with a lining. The interfacing does not withstand direct friction. A useful addition to my sewing materials. Came vacuum packed, prompt delivery. I bought 1 metre which was a good quantity for my small projects.

This has worked well when lining face masks, giving an extra 'filter' layer and adding a little firmness to lightweight cottons. I have found that the edges do come unstuck so ensure it is stitched into the seams.

Was the right thickness for what I needed and iron on really well

This is nothing like the medium-weight Vilene I've purchased from a dressmaking shop. It's extremely lightweight and would probably need two layers to do the job. It's labelled as Vilene but I'm not sure that it is.

Did exactly what it was supposed to. Easy to use once I realised that the print on the edge was actually an instruction for the time needed to make it stick. Package was delivered the day before the earliest date given so I was really happy to be able to get on with making masks. Went for the medium weight which gives the masks structure but is still soft enough to be comfortable. Altogether I'm really pleased with it.
