I've been using one of those glass jars with a plastic lid that's a lemon juicer. This wooden reamer is so much more convenient to use than the old juicer, and it works better, in my opinion. And it's as nice-looking as it is functional, with those beautiful wood grain markings. I occasionally wipe it down with food grade mineral oil (like I use on my wooden cutting board) to keep the wood conditioned. I've sometimes used olive oil for that purpose and that seems to work well, too.

Just received it, didn't use it yet. But wanted to note, that some low stars reviewers were saying that the color in life doesn't match the pic. Mine looks as good as on the picture. Very cute and feels well made.

Beautiful AND efficient! Prior to buying this little gem, I purchased a much larger citrus squeezer which did not deserve the “real estate” devoted to it… -this Olive Wood Lemon-Lime juice reamer is GREAT! I highly recommend (I always wash & hand dry so the wood does not dry out)

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I liked the shorter rounder shape. It is probably the best citrus reamer I have ever used!

I LOVE this little gadget! It is just the right size to use easily-the "handle" is the right shape and length, so it isn't awkward to use in any way--and is actually pretty easy on my weak and arthritic hand/wrist! And you can get every last drop of juice from your fruit :) I highly recommend it!

This is the handiest and most efficient juicer I have found. I had collection juicers that vary in efficiency, size and effort. This is the best.
