96 F-350 with 460 engine. Truck would leak a silver dollar spot when it sat. Used Blue Devil with a fresh oil change of Valvoline high mileage, it too has seal conditioners. It stopped leaking! It doesn't happen right away. Put about 700 miles on before it completely stopped.

The 2007-2009 Acura MDX's are known to have rear main seals that leak. Its $1250 - $1500 to have the seal replaced ($2 for the part, rest is labor) Our 2008 MDX has 181,000 miles and we were just looking for a solution to get it to 200,000 miles before we purchase our next vehicle. I will say I was disappointed the first week, it didn't seem to stop the oil burning smell or dripping. The smell comes because the oil leaks and flies backwards onto the exhaust pipes. Well my wife came home today and I just happened to be in the garage when she parked - no burning oil smell. Just smelled like a normal, hot engine. The oil drops have also stopped appearing under her car when she parks. I'm going to power wash/scrape the garage floor and monitor for drips. I may even power wash the underside of the MDX and the splash shields as they have been collecting oil for years now. For the time being - happy!

slowed down the leak but did not stop it

Well still have a couple of small drips on the bottom of the main seal but the oil level has not changed for a week now. I saw some bad reviews, guessing people are mad they now have to spend $2000 since it didn't work, but dont pass up because some people are mad... I dont use stuff like additives to clean engine or exhaust, gas, or o2 sensors but this i had no choice but to try...... I would guess this product works for smaller leaks that are only due to the gasket srinking, and not having a hole or somehting in it. So either way its worth the couple dollars to try it to possibly avoid a $2000 repair. i can fix a lot on the car but the rear main seal is not one of them. id have to had sold the truck if i didn't come across this product in a forum. JUST KEEP AN EYE ON THE OIL LEVEL NO MATTER WHAT.

I will never buy this again. I poured it in my oil and started driving. After about 25 miles my oil pressure was zero and I had to be towed. When I got the vehicle to my mechanic it was just the oil pressure sending unit. The mechanic replaced my sending unit and I started driving again. After a few weeks the sending unit failed again. Its my feeling the product clogged the sending unit. The first time the sending unit was change we did not change the oil. I wanted to give the product time to work. The second time we did change the oil. It has been a week now and all good so far with oil pressure. Bad news is, after all the expense, hassle, towing and replacing the sending unit 2 times, I STILL HAVE A LEAK.

This came highly recommended by a local auto parts store for a rear main seal leak on my ford truck. I ordered it on amazon, because it was much cheaper than at the store. I tried it out, followed the directions, added it to a new fresh oil change, drove it daily for 200 + miles, and it never worked. It didn't make it worse, but it didn't fix it or even slow it down. From what I could gather from other users, it is a hit-or-miss deal. Some people have good luck with it, if their seal isn't too bad, too old, etc., others like myself find it just doesn't do anything. My leak wasn't that bad. About half a dixie cup of oil total leakage in one month's time parked. But it is a 20 year old truck, so maybe it was just too old of a seal to stretch and work. Anyway, I ended up just getting the seal changed to a new one after this lackluster experience.

We are in the middle of moving 650mi and I noticed on my first of 4 trips, that the oil cooler on my Duramax Diesel was leaking. It was leaving a 8-10" puddle under it every night. After using this my puddle has disappeared and now I get a spot about the size of a quarter. I've put 1500 miles on it and will need to get another 1500 out of it before I will have time to re-seal the oil cooler properly. But this seems to have done the trick for the time being. I Definitely recommend this stuff as a bandaid to get you buy until a proper repair can be made. Just DO NOT use in ANY powertstrokes.

I’ve always been leery about the various automotive cure alls, but let me tell you about this product. First off, this was used on a 2007 Chevy Tahoe that has 175,000 miles. Unfortunately, it had a cracked radiator and my daughter didn’t notice that it was getting hot before it threw a overheated code and shut down the engine. Before this, although it had high mileage, it wasn’t leaking water or oil. I brought the car home and replaced the radiator, hoses, and while I was at it the drive belt. Upon start up, it started dripping oil from the rear main. I wasn’t happy at that point. I really didn’t have the time to deal with replacing the seal and knew it would probably cost $1500 to $2000 to have replaced at the shop. At that point, I started thinking about giving a sealer a try. I figured for the under $20 cost, it was worth trying, although I had my doubts. After pouring the product in the engine, we started the engine and allowed it to idle for about 15 minutes. It still had the drip, although I knew it needed longer to react. The car was then driven on a few short 20 mile trips while observing the drips once parked and idling. The drips that began as about one per 20 seconds had been reduced to one every 60 seconds. After about another 100 miles, the leaking stopped. Currently, the Tahoe has had an additional 1000 miles put on it and still no leaks! I am impressed! I don’t know what will happen in the future, but it’s sure working now. I would highly recommend this product to any of my friends or family without any reservations. I’m so happy that I decided to give it a try. Follow up 2 months later…. Still no leaks after 2 months and another 1500 miles. Very happy so far!

I used this 2 times now the leak never came back. The first time I used it I was really sceptical about this product still leaking for two days but as I drive along the leak suddenly disappeared. So when I did my oil change I pour another bottle no more leak up to now. I think it does its job kudos to the seller and kudos to bluedevil.

It worked well for a couple of months. Then again, so did a less expensive product from the local auto parts store.

Money wasting and very dangerous for turbo cars

Good product

After a couple of weeks it seems to be doing as advertised, time will tell.
