Does the PX100 only generate 12v dc? (My wire length requires 14v dc.)

The output of the PX100 is ***AC***, not DC - this is an isolation transformer, not a (DC) power supply. As noted, there are multiple output taps that allow you to select 12-14VAC output.

Will this work with a 300-watt pool bulb

It is only rated for 100 watts so you cannot run 300 watts with it.

can I use a regular switch to to turn transformer on,for pool light

You may use a residential type wall switch connected to interrupt the primary of the transformer. Wiring methods must conform to the National Electric Code. The load through the switch is less than 1 ampere at the maximum rating of the transformer, but the switch must be rated for no less than the line voltage (120 volts).
