Whitney Houston is so Amazing! What a Voice! Her Live Performaces CD/ DVD is even more beautiful than I can ever imagined. God blessed us with a beautiful singer with so much amazing talent to sing no matter live, or for a album that we will probably not experience again. I have majority of Whitney's albums, and they are amazing alone. What a beautiful voice. As I listened to her sing at every performance The Super Bowl, For the soldiers of the Persian Gulf War, South Africa Concert and her first live performance on the Merv Griffin Show in 1983, her voice is so beautiful like no other. I am so touched by her magical voice. And just recently I wrote a poem in sweet and fond memory of this beautiful voice of all time and I have to share it. It is called "This Song is For You" in honor of the Great Whitney Houston. I will miss her beautiful sound that in my heart will live forever. I Love You Whitney. I've been anxiously waiting for the release of this cd/dvd. It's Whitney at her best and each performance is incredible. Being a huge Whitney fan I have seen and own most of these performances but to have them all consolidated on one cd/dvd is just the best. This album reminds us fans why Whitney rose to fame so quickly with her powerful clear voice and her very unique interpretation of songs. If you're a Whitney Houston fan you need to buy this collection of songs and performances. If you're not, you will become a fan after hearing her sing these songs with her incredibly powerful voice. Who knows, if enough of us buy this their might be a Volume II release in the future. It's always great to have a star of her caliber remembered and her musical talent honored like this. I can't honestly pick a favorite they are all outstanding songs. Buy this you'll enjoy all of her great performances remastered - a joy to hear one of the greatest voices of our time.

I have been a Whitney Houston fan since I was 12 years old and remember hearing her voice waking up and thinking this is something different. Throughout the years I realized there was and will never be any one like her. She sung effortlessly... No strain.. Just amazing.. Beautiful tone coming from her mouth.. Ordering this DVD took me back to the days when I first heard her voice. It's electrifying and gave me chills... There will never be another like her. Never. This is worth every dime in my opinion

This dvd is proof that a voice like whitney, comes only once in a lifetime. This set contains an audio cd and a second disc which is a dvd. Footage and audio are excellent, nice booklet with liner notes and a write up about the release. i only wished that they could have included whitney's performances of i will always love you from VH1 divas 1999 and didn't we almost have it all. BUY this and you won't regret, price is only small compared to the sheer enjoyment you will get from owning this set. one word, "FANTASTIC."

There is no question of why I say of todays' female singers, that they had stopped coming from the heart. Whether it is Beyonce' Knowles, Rihanna or Katy Perry, they just do not even have heart when it has came down to the songs they have recorded and made. But some singers of the past, showed absolute pure heart in their heart, and it meant something to the whole world. Whitney Houston honestly was one of those few and far between singers. Not just in what she recorded, but also when she performed live, she always showed the world she had something to say when it came from the heart, when she was going through her heartbreaks, when we were going to war in Iraq, and when she had showed the joy in her beautiful smile. The performances range well from her debut on The Merv Griffin Show in 1983, when she sung Home, to the Super Bowl in 1991 when she did The Star Spangled Banner, to when she did a Interview about her heartbreak with Oprah Winfrey in 2009, and delivering on I Didn't Know My Own Strength, giving Oprah Winfrey the highest-rated interview on her 25 years on The Oprah Winfrey Show. There are just so many songs that still hit from the heart. There are so many performances that really deliver all over again, at the core of the matter. The DVD also delivers as well with extra-riveting performances, like when Whitney performed When You Believe with Mariah Carey at the 1999 Oscars which won the Academy Award for best song from The Prince Of Egypt. While I do wish that could've been on the CD as well, just the sheer joy of Whitney's heart is delivered so well here. It is honestly never possible to celebrate someones life, without mourning their death. That is said with John Lennon, Kurt Cobain, but it also somberly is said with Whitney Houston as well. I definitely do not think she had ever forgot how she had been targeted as The "Crack Is Whack" girl racially, spiritually and emotionally, when she was going through her trials, and tribulations. But if there is one honest thing Whitney Houston showed is that true beauty does come from the voice within. That is honestly something that needs to be said with today's singers than being trends and products. Whitney Houston showed more than any of the female singers of today that does come from the voice alone. The Album Is Grest Amazing Live Songs From Whitney Houston

I did not necessarily love all the songs as I like classical music mostly, but what I found strange and intriguing was that the DVD showed her starting out at the age of 19 singing on the Merv Griffin Show (1983) and ended on the Oprah Winfrey Show (2009) and it show a song done every couple of years later for the entire 26 years of elapsed time, however, instead of aging as would be expected, she more beautiful. I believe she was better looking at age 45 than she was at 19. I found that amazing. My last comment is that she will be sorely missed and I will always love her--she was an artist in all of its meaning.

Absolutely amazing, Whitney was most definitely THE VOICE. This album shows a wide range through Whitney's career, no matter what stage of life she was always impeccable. One moment in time, the greatest love of all, A song for you and All the man that i need are definitely highlights but every song on the album is sung so beautifully in only a way Whitney could. I highly recommend this album, i am playing it non-stop.

Whitney was an artist apart from so many of her contemporaries, and these recordings reflect the best of her live performances. From the 19 year old singing 'Home' (from The Wiz) to the heartfelt and biographical ' I Didn't Know My Own Strength' (as sung on that now famous Oprah interview), this is a must have for anyone's collection of great female ballad singers. I especially like the ballads...this is where she truly shines. Always missed, never to be duplicated.

La registrazione digitale è ottima, in totale 79 minuti di bellissima musica. L'ultimo ricordo che ci ha lasciato la grandissima Whit. Consigliato a chi ha amato la voce di Whitney e le sue canzoni.
