Is this at all similar to Indian tamarind chutney, the red kind that usually comes with samosas?

I doubt it. This is actually more like a sauce that has spices added. But I'd bet that it would make an awesome dipping sauce for samosas. It's also great on fish and all sorts of sandwiches.

Very mild heat, unless you're eating it by the teaspoonful. The flavours are amazing. Well worth it, and I'm not a fan of hot n' spicy. But I love this one.

When sauce was delivered the sealed was broken. Has that happened to anyone else ?

I suppose that’ll depend on the temperature of your house. The general rule of thumb would be similar to jams and jellies. In the warmer climate, refrigerate.

Better than expected…

This is a perfect condiment when accompanied by samosas and Falafel. Not overly sweet.

Amazing

Any one who lived in Trinidad 🇹🇹 like I did or visited Trinidad in no means can say they don't love chutney and this brand Caribbean Flavors really do have the Flavors on point and I miss Trinidad for the popular Indian food because Trinidad is like home to me and this product makes me feel at home and I will continue buying this product over and over again.

Karibbean Flavours' Chutneys are the best!

I've been sparingly enjoying all the Karibbean Flavours' chutneys because I was not sure when I would be able to get another selection. I would have to bring a large amount back with me when I travelled or have friends and family sacrifice suitcase space for me. At any given time I have 3 -4 bottles in the fringe to serve with cheeses, soups and curries. My friends love it and it's great to have something from "home" to share with them. I am so happy that amazon now carries them!

Great Chutney!
