Love this Stripping blade for Scottieโs
Favorite stripping blade for the last 15 years. Mars medium is the go to for stripping Scottish terriers. Itโs a sharp a long time, good value.

Perfect for my golden retrievers โspay coatโ
I bought this along with the undercoat rake and it has worked wonders on my Goldens spay coat! After I was through with him the first time using, I was amazed at how much hair I had!

This is a specialized comb to brush out the undercoat and it works perfectly!
This is a specialized comb for a specific breed I have a Brussels Griffin and you need this type of brush to comb out there under coat. It worked perfectly the next night there was maybe two of his hairs on my bed after I had combed him out. It gets the job done exactly as it says it would!

Nice stripping knife
Great quality, works well for stripping my wirehair dachshundโs coat. Only complaint is the handle could be slightly more ergonomic. After using for a prolonged period of time, my index finger feels like it is getting a blister from rubbing on the metal. Maybe that is a user error though.

Not Just for Dogs
I plan to use this to shorten my horse's mane without having to pull it. This knife came highly recommended by a friend.

Let's Talk Turkey
We have hair. LOTS of hair. Hair that always is in need of stripping. Wire hair fox terriers look gorgeous when properly groomed and their skin is kept healthy and happy. We love to groom but good quality tools are a necessity not a luxury. A good stripping knife will fit comfortably in your hand for the required hours of work (not be clunky or too chunky), be sturdy (full tang well seated) and a smooth handle to ensure a good grip. This Mars knife meets none of those basic criteria. The wooden handle is uniformly clunky, the sticker when removed took the dye finish with it (hoping you can see on photo) and the tang leaves a sizable gap for funk to move in and set up a fully furnished bacterial petri dish.Spend more.Buy better.Woefully disappointed. The newest gang of puppies may be rejoicing just a bit thinking no grooming. Wrong.

Not for me
Quality brand but not quite what I was looking for. Prefer a more substantial knife.

My dog loved getting groomed!
Was great to use on my short hair pomchi, especially around her neck. All over grooming of my daughter's dog too. Best for short hair was my experience.

Mars Stripping knife
This stripping knife is not as good as I had hoped.I wanted to use it for cocker spaniel ears and head instead of a clipper but it does not trim much at all.Had expected better for the price of this stripping knife
