is it sturdy enough to sit or step on it?

I would use this as a seat, gently and only occasionally, as though it appears sturdy enough to hold up to a 150 pound adult, it is not indestructible. It is NOT meant to stand on!!!! NOT A STEP STOOL! But a terrific occasional seat/ottoman.
