Good quality. Sturdy. Long enough for a 240 gal tank.
Great sturdy Alge scraper. The easiest, strong scraper. I would recomend. This works great in my 125 and 240 gal aquarium.

The fish tank scrubber you want
I still can’t believe how well this thing works. This is the most pleasant surprise of all the tools and gadgets I have ever bought. I had a massive bloom of green algae on one of my tanks. All my previous tools were ineffective by taking too much effort for paltry results. One good shove from this thing and I saw immediate results.

Best scraper I’ve had
I used to have an acrylic aquarium, but decided to get rid of it in favor of a glass aquarium. The acrylic aquarium gave me anxiety because they are notorious for being tricky to clean without scratching when I transition to a glass aquarium. I also wanted to be mindful of not scratching. I’ve heard that razor blades can still scratch a glass aquarium if you are straight up careless or use it weird for a second. I also have heard that using a razor blade on a glass aquarium is slightly risky. If you’re not careful around the silicone therefore I wanted to find a scraper with a handle one that had some kind of removable scraper and this thing is absolutely awesome. It easily removes green dust algae and blue green algae and brown algae from my glass so it’s really awesome and just incredible no-brainer but of course super notoriously tough algae like green spot algae. This thing is not effective, but that’s just kind of a given. I may get a razor blade scraper and use it carefully specifically further green spot algae on some parts of my glass. I love how you can literally just put another plastic card in it whenever the edges become too smooth. I also like that you cannot get in the corner of the glass 100% if you are scraping vertically, some may not like this, but this gives me a 100% safeguard that this thing will literally never touch my silicone. Then I use a toothbrush to gently scrub the actual interior of the corner.

Definitely beats my old algae scraper from the pet store!
I spent about 10 minutes doing a good scrubbing on my aquarium walls trying to get the excessive buildup of algae down and I was not disappointed! I love that it has two sides to deliver a proper scraping. The only downfall is that it is a little small, even for my 10 gallon aquarium. If it was a little longer it would be perfect! Anyway, I was very satisfied with its performance And felt like my aquarium looked a lot cleaner haha. It’s easy to use too, just scrape at the algae and it comes right off!

Effective Aquarium Scraper without Scratching Glass
I bought an 18 inch Flipper Platinum Aquarium Algae Scraper to remove both green and stubborn red algae from my 20 gallon high aquarium. I chose this plastic scraper because I did not want to risk scratching the glass panels. This tool was very effective in removing all forms of algae. I was also able to apply enough pressure to remove the red algae in a couple of strokes. It was way more effective than magnetic scrapers available from other manufacturers. The handle is well designed to maintain a good grip during use. Purchasing hint: Make sure you order a scraper that is longer than your aquarium is high to keep the handle completely out of the water while in use.

Buyer beware
Didn’t know when I was using it after a while it was scratching my acrylic tank

Best scraper out there.
I have 4 of these in various lengths. works great in all my tanks, Short ones for the nanos and long for the 90 and 125. Won’t scratch low iron or acrylic.

Simple, safe and effective.
I saw some other tank scrapers on Amazon that were based on use of a single edged razor blade. While I imagine that they may be *slightly* more effective, I don't know about you, but I scrape the inside of my tank without first removing the fish. So... whipping a razor blade on a stick around the inside of your fish tank seems like a really bad idea to me. If you argued that this "Flipper" contraption is simply a well-made handle with a long extension for the "blank" credit card it comes with, you'd basically be right. On the other hand, it's sturdy, very well-made and works quite well. If you aren't worried about whatever soap residue or other chemicals are on your hands, and you aren't worried about what chemicals may be part of your old expired credit card's magnetic stripe or printing, you could just hold an old card in your hand and do the same thing free. I find that algae grows fast enough in my tank that I have scrape it once a week. So, while I wouldn't have minded if the Flipper had been a buck or two cheaper, I'm really comfortable with having purchased the Flipper. Last point: One reviewer complained that the card didn't always remove ALL of the algae with the very first scrape and that, sometimes they had to (gasp!) go back over a spot another time or two. If you feel that way, then use the dang razor blade. That issue aside, I've got to tell you that this thing is easy to use and I didn't find the effort required to be unreasonable in the slightest. (That other dude should probably give his fish away.)

This is amazing
It took me 5 minutes to clean each tanks glass to perfection. The card it comes with is literally just a credit card and works amazing. The whole thing is metal except the plastic clip for the card and the handle is a high quality rubber/silicone for perfect grip. And the angle is perfect not to move the water too much and stir up the gravel. This is honestly incredible and anyone who has an aquarium needs one

Totally changed the way I keep my aquarium clean.
This is a very good product. No more scratches on the glass. No more wet arms when cleaning my aquarium. No more fish trying to eat my fingers.

Not good for tight spaces
Not for me. AI said it was good for small places, gets between glass and rock but sadly with a 1 inch space still no joy. Returned.
