Interlux YBD104/1 Micron CF Antifouling Paint - Shell White, Gallon

Excellent bottom paint which really is much whiter than may competing paints which are really much closer to beige. I used this last year as well and barely needed a revisit this season but decided to do it anyway. Looks great and very effective.

We are in fresh water. Pulled boat out after almost a year for some maintenance and the hull looked like the day we put it in. Guessing this stuff could go several years. Goes on thick and seems to hold up well.

Does a great job and is easy to apply. Looks great and keeps the bottom of the boat clean.

Product arrived as promised. Painted area looks very good, and the paint was very sticky so no dripping during application with brush and roller.

To be environmentally friendly I used Micron CF as the finishing coat after stripping and barrier coating the bottom of my sailboat. My boat is moored in a tidal river. After launch the bottom stayed clean for about 5 weeks. I first developed a brown slime. It wiped away easily. The brown slime kept returning requiring a cleaning every two to three weeks. As the season progressed the brown slime turned into 2 to 3 foot strings of green slime that grew despite weekly cleanings. The slime always cleaned off easily. I think this paint might be better suited to power boats that can get up to 20 knots and blast any growth off the hull. Sailboats just don't go fast enough to keep it clean.
