easy to use
I like the way it works with no problems, the secret is to not use sand, Harbor Freight sells a very good grit.

Works As Expected
Used this model in hard to reach areas of an old truck body, frame, and misc parts. Aluminum Oxide Media worked pretty well. Using 11 CFM Compressor 90 psi 5HP Single Phase 60 Gallon and 3/8 Air Fittings. Don't use 1/4! Have used Commercial Sand Blasters in the past and of course they run rings around this setup. Be patient and let your compressor catch up if you blast wide open (works best wide open for me). Smaller Compressor means more waiting for usable pressure to come up. I am recovering media for reuse as I nearly finished 50lbs of 70 Grit (medium grade) fairly fast. Start with a clean work area outside if you wish to reuse your media. I agree that drilling out the inlet as one reviewer did might help with dirty Sand since it plugs up easily. Found I had to shake the unit often when I tried dirty Sand, but no issues with plugging up with the Alluminum Oxide (cut fairly well). I don't plan to use Sand so might not mess with the inlet size yet. Filtered Blasting Sand would likely work fine if clean and dry. I have a blast cabinet which is one method I use for small or medium parts cleanup. Tumbler works well with nuts and bolts. Heavy rust on cast iron or steel billows off if part is soaked in White Vinegar for a few days. Read up if you try this as the Vinegar will eat pot metal and some plating for starters. Brake drums, rotors, and calipers for instance will look like new after a good soak and scrub/rinse.

Junk
Total garbage. The piston behind the trigger froze up quite quickly and even after "repairing" it with all new o rings, it still froze up. Crapola. Thanks china for another fine product....NOT!

Save your money
I bought it to get into corners where it's hard to sand. Almost unnoticeable effect on rust and flaky paint @ 90psi. Wimpy performance. Don't waste your time or money.
