You Can Draw: Marvel Characters

This is definitly the best marvel drawing book that I purchased for my twins. It is easy to understand and breaks it down into steps. It also includes transparent tracing type pages that helps them. After only having it for one week they have already considerably improved on drawing characters. Drawing is their favorite hobby and this book will be used alot.

My elementary age boys just love this book. They have spent many happy hours drawing their favorite super heroes. The book is well done, explaining the proper tools to use and how to properly hold the drawing tools. Overall, quite satisfied with this book.

Truthfully, I bought the book solely for the stencil in the back. What can I say, I had no action balloon stencil, I had never seen an action stencil before, the price was right. Anyway, the book is very well made, lots and lots of instruction with tracing paper and colorful Super Hero's. Line by line detailed instruction of what to do and how to do it. Take care...

I love this book. As an artist who loves superheroes, this book is very fascinating. I learned so much from it too! This book is very informative and fun. I first discovered it in Barnes and Noble, and I looked at the price and cringed. I told myself I would look for it on Amazon instead, so I did and it's so much cheaper here! I would recommend this to anybody who loves to draw, and is interested in comics/superheroes.

Used but in great shape. I love the drawings. This was bought as a present, but i think it will be a hit. B reaks characters into the individual shapes. Arrived quickly.

We were very happy with this book, mostly because it is hard covered AND opens flat with spiral bound pages. It is very nice for laying flat and practicing the drawing pictures and tips.

Purchased this book as a gift for a 6 year old but it appears better suited for someone a bit older. Still, the pictures and instructions are quite good.

It arrived earlier than expected, which was good. The book looked new, and the art, sketches are amazing. I learned a thing or two from this book.

I have to admit to being initially annoyed that the stencils are not actually of the characters. The only stencils are of the "speech bubbles" that you get in cartoons: stars, bubbles etc. However, the book is excellent, if a little advanced for my 9 year old. This would certainly do for well into the teens for anyone interested in drawing these great figures. You get step-by-step illustrations of how to create a basic human form and then add muscles and clothes or maybe weird alien costumes and structures. It's a good quality book to hold and well worth the money. If you have a budding artist in the family who likes action heroes, I would recommend this highly.
