Four Stars
A helpful study for the layman; the book explains the limits of science and clearly teaches confessional Lutheranism.

the word science has changed in its meaning to be something it absolutely no longer is!
O absolutely hated it... This book is not written for the Christian in mind. It seems its science or your faith in God. It discusses science like an obnoxious soar. With statements like: The skeptics and critics have not understood the persistence of Christianity because they have not understood the person of Jesus Christ. Man has created "science" as a definition to understand things like the sun for instance. We use the elements we find on earth and wrap them in a man's definition of understanding when God created simply with His almighty breath. The sun just like the moon is not made of anything we have here on earth but science sure tries to use it to define everything... Man hasn't been past any solar system to know it exists, but the word science is man's clumsy expression of being "like-god"... science doesn't know anything. God created heaven and earth and that's IT! Man's ego can show pretty drawings and cgi and say "Science CAN" with all the authority he can muster... but its a deception. God breathed the heavens into existence... just like your Bible tells you GOD made heavens and the earth.... man tries to fill in the blanks. Don't let him, aka science!! Do not buy this book. There is nothing you will learn from it. Stay away from anything that has "faith" & "science" in the same sentence. I am recently rereading all my books in my library... Go for How We Got the Bible by Neil R Lightfoot instead.
