Hydro Valve Additive, 3 x 300 ml

Vortec 6L V8 lifters started to make some noise especially during cold mornings and it was getting louder and louder fast. Tried to flush the engine twice but no help although engine got bit smoother. Throwed this in between the oil change and the noise completely disappeared fairly quickly. Now even that the truck is sitting 3 weeks in a weather between 0 to -15 in C (32 to 5 in F) there’s absolutely no noise in cold start while the engine is warming up. I’d still recommend the engine flush or several of them as the noise is usually about the poor oil flow (dirt all over the place) and dirty & sticky lifter rods. If this does not help, manually clean the rods and inspect the rockers. Bit time consuming but fairly simple job, tons of YouTube videos available for sure. Act fast as more noise more damage eventually.Also understand what you’ll be doing. My V8 is a 2003 engine that is a) in a good shape (piston pressures solid 13 bar) and b) the engine does not have anything fancy in it – just simple V8 (no variable this and that, no eco throttle pistons to save fuel etc.). As the magic of these is the change the oil structure from viscosity point of view you can actually do more harm than good with your engine especially with the newer ones.

This actually does a very good job of making those hydraulic tappets quieter .Worked for me..

I don't know what's in this but it worked straight away with the noise from my tappets. The garage wanted £500 to repair it. Easy to use just pour it in the same place as your oil.

It does what's writin on it

Habe mehrere Fahrzeuge und da sind ein paar Klassiker dabei. Bei einem hab ich es mal getestet und war positiv überrascht. Gleich nach dem einkippen reduzierte sich der Geräuschpegel.

Compré una Opel Combo 1.6 cdti, con 30 mil kms, que había estado parada temporadas largas, ya que era coche familiar playero y se movía un par de meses al año. Cambie sus cambios de aceite con Liqui Moly toptec 4600, dexos2 5-30w que es que le pertecene y noté un golpeteo en la zona de balancines, esporádicos pero al final en todo momento. Al leer que este motor peca de conductos de engrase estrechos, decidí probar con el liqui moly piñón, en el siguiente cambio de aceite y filtros, se lo implemente, y tras arrancarlo, ha amortiguado muchísimo ese golpeteo, claro esta después de hacer solo 6 kms. Supongo que irá reduciéndose aún más conforme se vaya batiendo aceite y aditivo, limpiando conductos y botadores eliminando ese molesto ruido. Ahora suena a distribución diesel regular y con ruido normal. Recomemiendo absolutamente.

Köpte begagnad bil med 164.000km på mätaren. Full service historik, men jag var skeptisk till allt eftersom bilen avger slitet oljud. Köpte denna produkten som jag hällde i efter en motorsköljning och ny olja. Bilen blev knäpptyst och låter som en väl insmörjd maskin. Jag kommer köpa den även till min Audi Q5 3.0
