exactly what I needed.
I bought this lock after so many locks had failed to stop my special needs child from staying out of the fridge while trying to teach my child to ask for things out of it. This lock is not pretty but it is effective. I recommend this lock for families with people with special needs young and old.

Genius product
Absolutely love this lock! Needed to restrict autistic child’s access to certain foods for the sake of her health, our budget and my sanity. Purchased a small second fridge and installed this lock. Black with black combination lock. You can see from the photo the front of my new fridge is curved, but it was easy to install the lock arms vertically instead of horizontally. Only problem (partly bc it is placed vertically) is that lower metal arm keeps falling out of the bracket when we unlock the fridge. I need to glue it in place. Adhesive is ROCK solid. Otherwise perfect!! We can finally have foods like ice cream again without it all disappearing in the night.

Great fridge lock
I use this lock on a small refrigerator at work. It is a solid design and keeps things secure. The tape is extremely secure and feels as of it could be permanent. Just make sure to clean the surface properly before applying.

Didn’t stick well but seems built well otherwise
It seems to be built well but the adhesive didn’t stick like I had hoped. I used this on a shelving unit to keep the door closed. I’m planning on adding a stronger glue or something.

Holding strong for well over a year
I bought this lock for a wine fridge. The installation was very easy -- just make sure it's where you want it the first time because once it's attached, it's not going anywhere. It's easy to set the lock combination to any 3-digit number that you want. I've had it for more than a year and had no problems at all. It's obviously not going to keep an adult out if they really want to get it, but you'll know if that happens.

Fantastic.
Adhesive worked great, no issues. Lock works well on my mini fridge. Keeps my kids out of my treats so I can actually have chocolate that lasts more than 12 hours in my home. I even started keeping a personal pickle stash!
