I wouldn't recommend it. In the middle is safer than back.

is this good for a 5'2 woman?

I’m 5ft 5inches and it’s fine. Just adjust the seat up or down as needed. Just make sure the tires are filled at all times or it will pedal hard. It’s a nice bike. I did, however, replace the seat because it was tough on the butt. Other than the seat being hard, it’s a nice bike
