When connected to a phone, does this allow you to continue to answer calls?

I fitted this to a 1987 Audioline 550 Car stereo works perfect and although my phone will ring through the car speakers you can hear your phonecalls but the person calling you cannot due to there is no mic on board the Bluetooth PCB although I have noticed on the Samsung S8+ you can disable a Bluetooth device for Audio or Calls option but I will try it over the weekend and update this answer for you ok

What is the external antenna connection type?

I’d love to know myself, although plug in aerials tend to be too long. Due to the half wave length of BT, it should be about 25mm long. The BT range ends up shortening with an aerial that’s too long! All I do is solder a single 25mm long piece of CAT6 conductor to the aerial track on the board and I’m getting conservatively 30m range on all my BT boards.

Is there a minimum guage for the power aupply wires as the clip connector isn't holding the wires in when i try and press where shown?

if you look at the last illustration on the listing it clearly shows 33 mm x 56mm. its only about 10mm thick.
