Perfect book for my lace projects
I haven’t had a chance to knit any project from this book yet. However I am finding it very useful, with beautiful patterns, very well presented in writing and on charts. I think it is good for the beginners and more advanced lace knitters.

This book not only contains great shawl patterns in many styles, both charted and written, but tells how to make it bigger, if you like as well. A lot of care has been taken with each pattern detail. As a bonus, there's a section on how to easily design your own shawl. Very, very pleased!

This book is an excellent choice for an experienced or inexperienced shawl knitter. The patterns are given with gauge/type (sport, fingering, etc.) of yarn and charts ( as well as written instructions, for those of us who have problems decifering charts). The 12 shawls come in styles varying from solid (nice and comfy warm) to Lacey (light and elegant). This book will be a solid staple in my knitting library and is an excellent choice for a novice shawl knitter.

Great book of shawls. It has many different patterns and they seem like they would be warm as well as beautiful. Not too lacy, just for looks kind of patterns. I will definitely make several.
