The Night I Was Chased By A Vampire

We first read this about 15 years ago when our children were in primary school. It has remained a favourite since then with both girls still able to recite it by heart. It is written in simple rhyming verse and is brilliant to read out loud. It is funny not spooky - it won't scare children, and it is tongue-in-cheek enough to appeal to adults too. Read it once and you will want to read it again - and you will never forget the punchline, guaranteed!
