17 inches is real small when you try to put in the ceiling...
This light would have been real cool if it was much bigger as shown in one of the pictures. The actual dimensions are very small and the hole in the ceiling is seen. Also when we when to connect the light it did not function properly - first time turned on, second time did not, third time blinked and we had enough by then. But the seller was very prompt in sending the item and hence a star. The product excited my kid but then the price is not worth it.
