Absolutely delicious! I made creamy mushroom pasta and added a packet of this to the mushrooms. It gave the dish such complexity of flavor! I came bay to the page yo subscribe and save. Now that I discovered it (thanks to a friend’s recommendation), I want it to be a pantry staple.

This was my first time trying a beef demi-glace concentrate, and I was pleasantly surprised. The flavor is very rich and the beef aroma is quite pronounced, which adds a nice depth to sauces and stews. It’s easy to use and convenient, though the taste might be a bit strong for those who prefer lighter flavors. Overall, a great product to elevate homemade dishes.

I absolutely love this product! It makes a delicious, high quality demi that is so easy to make! The texture is a smooth & thick sauce that will kick up your recipes several notches! I use it in sautéed mushrooms but it's versatile for many other things. Try it in your pasta sauce! The value is pretty good. The size is perfect for one pan of whatever you're making, but there's 2 packets in each box if you need to make more.

I don't know when I have been so disappointed by a product. There was no discernible beef flavor at all, and what flavor it did have was seriously objectionable. On the Amazon website, the ingredient list is conspicuously absent. Otherwise, I would have known that there was more maltodexterin or sugar or salt than there is beef stock, which is the seventh ingredient listed. All I could taste was the maltodexterin, salt and sugar. There was no saving it; I discarded it. I would not serve this to my husband. I am attaching a photo of the ingredient list so you can see that there is no way it could taste remotely like beef.

Flavor made an excellent gravy.

Used this to make ramen broth for the kiddo. It's a lunchtime favorite now. Love's the taste of it and how easy it is to use.

This stuff is fine. And since the took away the good Demi concentrate, it’s one of the better ones I’ve found. You just have to make it better Sauté some shallot or garlic a bit, pour in some red wine, let that reduce with a bay leaf for a bit, add in whatever other flavors you might want (I use ancho peppers for one of mine), add the packets (4 goes a long way here), and reduce and adjust flavors. Finish by mounting with butter off the heat to get that nice texture and flavor combo. It’s not great, but you can make it pretty darn tasty.
