So, I read a lot of reviews before buying this. After having used this product 3 times, I find that most negative reviews are user error. First of all, if you are pale, like I naturally am. I am irish, I am as pale as it gets, however, I have been tanning a while so I have a great tan going on. I typically use Ed Hardy Coconut Kisses, mainly because I wanted my skin to actually tan as well as it could without any bronzer psyching me out. I reached a plateau and decided to get this to use a few times then alternate. It is working great to give me a little boost. This stuff is NOT for pale people. You NEED a good base tan before you go to an intense bronzer. If you want more immediate results then you should not be bed tanning, you should be self or spray tanning, because that is exactly what you will be doing if you use this on pale skin. Anyone who is streaking or staining is either too pale and/or not applying correctly. (PS we can see in your photos you are too pale). I used this with zero streak or stain anywhere. I do not wash my hands after applying I merely wipe my palms on the towel and wipe off excess between my fingers. There is no stain anywhere on my hands, not even around my nails. Also, it's not rocket science to take off your rings when you apply tanning lotion. I noticed several had bad staining around rings. First of all, you're trapping all that under there, of course it will probably stain. Second, it is terrible for your jewelry to cover it with lotion unless you enjoy constantly cleaning them to remove the nasty build up in all the crevices. So, if you're too pale, get some color first before you use this. Apply properly. Don't use so much product that it won't rub in fully, and remove your jewelry. A simple wiping of hands on a towel, between fingers and the Palms should be suffienct to remove excess product and prevent staining. As for the consistency, I thought it was perfect, thick and creamy but rubs in well and quickly. I felt it dried fairly quickly as well. Of course, I don't use too much product though. The smell I thought was nice, I tend to like fruity smells but this was good and it smells nice after tanning. I didn't smell like burnt popcorn or anything (as my 9 year old daughter has claimed previously with other lotions lol) , it still smelled the same. Over all, I loved the lotion and pleased with my purchase and the price. I will repurchase to rotate with my coconut kisses. Also... to comment on receipt of product. It came perfectly intact, shrink wrapped in plastic and no issues as others claimed. It was a legit bottle as others tried to claim otherwise due to manufacture bottle design change. I recommend this product!

Works fast without causing burn on fair to light skin and has a nice texture. Smells like typical tanning lotion. Was easy to tell where it was applied for an even tan. Did not notice and color transfer.

After reading other reviews for this product, I had to come on and leave one of my own. I absolutely love the texture! Much thinner, and easier to apply than their $120/bottle signature recipe! After reading the reviews, I need to make sure I applied evenly and rubbed it all in well. It really wasn't hard to do. I've been going to the tanning salon for a little over a month now, using their expensive lotion. I definitely see a faster result with SB100X! I've included pictures with my results - if you look at my belly button, you can see where I always forget to lotion, and that shows how white I usually am. I will definitely be reordering, and promoting this lotion to my tanning friends!

Ive been tanning for about 6 weeks. So I do got a decent tan going. I am Irish and German. So understand that im extremely pale lol. Anyway I have been using a accelerator. I used this 1 time so far mixing it with my accelerator. Idk how people are having streaking. I have not had that issue and im gonna be honest. I did not wash my hands it did not leave any kind of residue behind. This has been a good one to help with tanning my legs. I have a tough time tanning below the knees. Now I waited 5 hours before takin a shower. This has worked! For below my knees. I will have to obviously use that combo a couple times to get my legs matching my body tan. However its impressive 👏. I really love the way this stuff makes my skin feel. Its like butter on my skin afterwards. This stuff is so creamy but not in a thick icky way. No this stuff goes onto the skin and dries down pretty quickly!. By the time I was ready to go into the booth. It was dried down. I like this stuff. Im used to using designer skin. So I do have something in compare it to. This stuff is my 2nd favorite. I would buy again for sure. It does what I wanted it to. Im excited to use it more. See what kinda results this stuff is going to give. It'll make my weekly rotation for lotions.

Good and quick color but not orange and no streaking. It will come off on your clothes right after tanning so recommend wearing loose/older clothing when tanning at salon with this and definitely wash your hands after applying or they will bronze too lol

Let me start off by saying I'm no amateur when it comes to Tanning Lotions, even those with Bronzers. This product works as described. There's really nothing else to say about that. But, there are quite a few asterisks's that should be discussed. Foremost, I wouldn't advise anyone who is really fair-skinned or pasty white to start off using this product and I will go into detail why. This product has a 100X bronzer in it, And not just a developing bronzer (One that helps boost your tan's natural color as it develops), but also an instant bronzer which gives you a little glow within an hour or two of using it in the tanning bed for immediate results. With that said, Streaking and orange spots are possible with this product if not applied correctly and thoroughly. When applying this product, you need to be sure that you A. Apply evenly over the areas you wish to use it on. B. Rub it in completely. This is very important. Rub it in until your skin doesn't feel "wet" anymore. C. Areas that have thin skin will bronze quicker than other areas. These areas include Arm Pits, Kneecaps, elbows, and feet/hands and under your wrist. I would advise using a lesser amount over these areas or those spots will end up looking darker and more "orange" than the rest. Always wash your hands after applying this product. Failure to do so will result in orange palms and in between fingers due to the multiple applications/concentrated amounts. Use a mild hand soap to wash between fingers, your palms and under your fingernails and cuticles. These are easy to avoid but you can't just slather it on and hop in the tanning bed and expect a perfect finishing tan. Apply it right. If you are fair skinny/pale, I would suggest using a tanning lotion with a developer to boost your tanning color first and once you start getting a little golden, then you can use a product like this with such a high bronzer. Using this much bronzer on such pale skin will leave you orange. I have personally always used Designer Skin Products with bronzers and have never had this much issues when using this. If this seems too much for you, I would suggest going down to the Solid Black 50X Bronzer.

I tan 3 times per week in a tanning booth and this lotion gets me BROWN! Applying evenly won't cause streaks, and it doesn't have a nasty smell afterwards, like others I have tried. I find best results by leaving it on overnight and washing the morning after my tan session. I love the golden tan it gives!

So being a Canadian living in the Saskatchewan we have long, hard winters and I like to tan a little bit in the winter due to the lack of sunlight exposure we get during the winter months, I also like to supplement my vitamin D during this time as well. That being said after the first time I got ripped off at a tanning salon and paid $80.00 CAD for a bottle of tanning lotion about this size I was glad to come to good old Amazon to find good deals and quality, peer-reviewed product. After reading the initial reviews about this product and looking at the reasonable price tag I decided to give it a shot and I have not been left disappointed. I have only tanned twice with this lotion and I already notice a nice, vibrant, healthy, natural-looking bronze tan beginning to exuberate from my face and skin. I am very satisfied with my purchase given the price and performance. I am a pretty fair complexion by nature and I don't feel this has given me an unnatural look at all. It's very strong though, no question about it. I think if you were to start overdoing your tanning sessions you might start to look like an oompaloompa but as long as you examine yourself and use it in moderation you should be fine. My initial tans have given me a great, and healthy looking tan. At least I won't look like a vampire for Dec-April :) Zero complaints from me, 5 stars all around, couldn't be happier with the product upon my initial impressions. If you're looking for a good tanning lotion this stuff seems to work great. I will add the disclaimer I'm no expert in tanning, I only tan out of necessity and haven't used many other products to compare it too, but it's doing great for my needs.

I don’t tan often, so I’ve been using the same bottle of this product for the last few years. I had recently finally ran out and ordered a couple new bottles, and the difference is night and day! My old bottle must have been long expired and lost its effectiveness. This product definitely works and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to achieve a bit more colour when they tan. My only gripe is that it will leave noticeable streaks that can last for weeks at a time if it is not properly applied, but this can easily be avoided.
