Upgrade 2.4GHZ Wireless Guitar System Built-in Rechargeable Lithium Battery Wireless Guitar Transmitter Receiver for Electric Guitar Bass

TLDR: This is an amazing wireless guitar system for the price. The battery lasts me a full 4 hour gig as long as I turn both the transmitter and receiver off in-between sets. Sound quality is great except for the terrifying noise they admit when the battery dies. Full Review: My setup: Fender American Ultra Jazz Bass 5-String Active/Passive switch Fender Rumble 500 Watt Amp with Send-Receive effects running through a Zoom B3n Effects Pedal I bought this Getaria wireless system after my Line-6 G30 bit the dust during the first night of a gig and I couldn't get it working before the second night. Amazon was able to ship the Getaria 2.4GHZ Wireless Guitar System overnight so I decided to give it a shot. I didn't have high hopes for a sub-$40 wireless system but if it worked for one night that's all I needed. I have been shocked and super impressed by how well this wireless system has performed and my $230 Line-6 system has stayed home for the past few months in favor of my Getaria has been on the road with me for 8 more nights. The Getaria 2.4ghz system is for a single user. I am the only guitarist in my band that uses one. My lead singer has a Shure Beta-58 wireless and the other guitarist uses a Line-6 G3 system. Our three systems don't cause any interference with each other. We also use a Soundcraft Ui24R mixer and wireless system isn't affected negatively by it. I've also used it in a festival setting on a big stage and it performed very well. The Getaria 2.4Ghz has great wireless range and hasn't given me any issues with my active/passive bass guitar. I have been able to wander about 40 feet away and still get a signal from my bass guitar to my amp. The wireless transmitter has no problem working with my bass guitar pickups whether they are in active or passive mode. The sound quality of the Getaria 2.4Ghz wireless is fantastic. I haven't noticed any quality loss between my expensive Line 6 systems vs. the Getaria. I have played live with the Getaria and have listened back to my band's board recordings and have been very impressed by the sound quality it carries. My one knock on the sound is the terrifying noise the wireless emits through my amp whenever the battery in the transmitter or receiver dies. As the battery emits it's dying breath it causes the Getaria to emit a sound I can only describe as something I would expect an alien ship to emit as it's shot down above Area-51. It would be a perfect sound for an M. Night Shyamalan movie. The battery life of the Getaria 2.4Ghz guitar wireless system has been impressive and I've been able to use it for a full 4 hour show as long as I remember to turn the transmitter and the receiver off in-between sets. The system comes with a dual usb-c cord so you can charge both the transmitter and receiver at the same time off the same usb outlet. It usually takes about an hour to charge both devices with the included cord. On days when I accidently leave either the transmitter or the receiver on long enough to kill the battery, I'm able to charge them for around a half hour and they last me the rest of my practice session or gig. I have also left the receiver plugged in and charging while in-use and haven't had any issue doing that. It sure beats carrying around a bag or 9v and AA batteries for my previous wireless systems. Overall I have been very impressed by the Getaria 2.4ghz wireless guitar system and would recommend it to anyone needing a budget wireless system or anyone needing a serviceable spare or backup wireless.

I am a world-class professional luthier, but, alas, only an intermediate guitar player. For several years I have been mostly playing my acoustic (which is what I specialize in building). I have a “made in USA“ telecaster that I have had an on and off love affair for 40 years. It’s fun to play. However, because I spend so much time in the shop, I rarely have time to goof. Then, I purchased a Spark amplifier. Go get one. If you like playing rockstar in your garage, this is the amp for you. Also, I believe that you can Jerry rig it up to go through a PA System. It’s like having all the guitars in the world on your phone coming through your little amp. But I digress… Like I said, I’m intermediate at best. I can hold my own as a rhythm player in a bar band. Not so great it leads unless I really, really practice. However, I have been recently taking music theory lessons (I am otherwise completely self taught, all my bad habits and misguided notion’s in tow which probably describes most of you) end it is slowly, but surely unlocking 40 years of self-taught BS or clearing it up depending on your perspective. Sorry for the long winded introduction, but suffice it to say I am not unfamiliar with amplifiers and cables. I thought cables were a necessary evil that we just had to deal with. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve untangled, tripped, over wound up, had s****y connection issues resulting in buzzes, hum, earpiercing screeches and just generally hit or miss luck. So with my new amp in my lessons I have been quietly playing “rockstar“ in my garage and practicing my theory lessons after I start winding down from working in the shop in the wee hours of the morning. Having a pretty good time yet, still dealing with those nasty ass cables. I always assumed that wireless systems were for the rich and famous and they were probably dicey, at best, Unless you had some serious cash. That may have been true, but not today. I picked up this set on Amazon, Knowing well that if I wasn’t satisfied, this great company would take my return, no questions asked. Pretty good guarantee. Better than you’ll get it most places, that’s for sure. So these bad boys came partially charged in the box and I was able to immediately start fooling around with it. One word: AMAZING! There is no hum, no buzz, no distance issues (at least in my guitar shop), absolutely no latency and no stupid(!!) cables to dick with. Granted, I can’t speak to the longevity or durability of this device but, at 40 bucks a pop? How can you go wrong?. I gave five stars to the battery life just on a benefit of doubt basis. I saw a couple videos that suggested that the batteries will last up to 24 hours. Hell, if last half of that, I’ll be one happy puppy. Should any negatives develop, I will amend this review. But for a first time wireless user and garage rockstar, this is the best thing since sliced bread. Try them out, I don’t think you’ll be sorry. UPDATE MAY 2, 2021: i’m a bit tempted to take one star away but I don’t think I will. The only bad issue about this product is the battery life sucks. I thought I read someplace where people were getting 24 hours of playtime. Either I was mistaken or they are freaking crazy. I’m lucky to get about three hours out of it. I’ve since learned to charge them after every session. The transmitter is always the one to go dead first. I really don’t know how long the receiver can go without a recharge. But I’m keeping the five stars because the fix is easy. If you have a phone battery pack or a USB battery pack and a decent cord to reach from your back pocket into the transmitter you’re good to go indefinitely. Still like this product a lot!

I've been a gigging musician for almost 20 years and I've used a lot of gear during that time, and let me tell you, wireless systems have always terrified me. When they work, they work great. When they stop working during a set--and this has happened to me on more than one occasion--it's at a minimum inconvenient and at a maximum it's disastrous. I always keep a cable staged and ready to go at a moment's notice. That said, I figured $40 for a wireless system was worth the risk. Let me tell you, this little device is worth it. So far I've had no issues whatsoever with the Getaria system. Here's my take: PROS: - Price, obviously. - Sound quality is great for wireless; the signal is uncompressed and I can't tell a difference in dynamic range nor in audio frequency. - Ease of setup; just push the 'pair' button on the receiver, then on the transmitter, and bada boom bada bing you're ready to go. - Fits all of my instruments, including a Strat, an ESP, and an Ibanez bass. Stays in place rather well...unless you run around or do flips on stage it'll stay in place however you adjust it. As per other reviews, there may be some instruments that it doesn't fit well depending on where the input jack is located. SO-SO: - Distance seems to be OK especially with line-of-sight. It'll do for most stages, unless you're playing at an arena or need to go around corners for some reason. - The green LED is super bright and depending on how you have it connected it could be aimed directly at the audience. Seems a bit distracting but maybe I'm just being picky. - The box that the system comes in is a surprisingly high quality. - The system is charged via USB rather than most wireless systems which use batteries. As long as you remember to charge up before a set, you should be good to go. A cable is included which lets you charge both transmitter and receiver at once, and the charge lasts for about 2-3 hours of use. Definitely good enough for a single set, but if you're doing a full night at a bar you're going to want to make sure you turn them off between sets and maybe keep a cable on standby just in case. - The latency is around 12ms which is acceptable. I swore at first that at low volumes I could hear a difference between the sound direct from my strings and the sound from my amp (obviously that adds in the speed of sound distance between the amp and my ear). However during a full-volume rehearsal I found no discernible delay so I seriously doubt it would be noticed by an audience. CONS: - The transmitter and receiver are made out of suuuuper cheap-feeling plastic. You'll just want to be careful with them because they feel like they might get crunched rather easily. Perhaps keep them in the fancy box they come in when you're not using them. All in all, I'm very pleased with the system so far especially considering the price point. If you're looking for a no-frills wireless at an acceptable price, this one is your guy.

So far, I am very happy with the Getaria GWS-8 wireless transmitter and receiver. Both transmitter and receiver have worked very well with the Markbass bass guitar. After charging the battery prior to the first use, I tested the system during practice for 2-3 hours. With the same 1st battery charge I performed on stage for 1+ hour without any issues. The battery held very well. I do plan to turn off both, transmitter and receiver during breaks to maximize the battery. Both units connect easily as soon as turning them ON. The charging cable provided is quite convenient with a double outlet to charge the transmitter and receiver at the same time. Observations: 1. USB-C connection to both, transmitter and receiver is a bit too tight making the connection a bit hard to insert, however, by flipping the connection 180deg it seems to work better. Be gentle during the connection and if it does not connect easy, then flip the plug around and try again. 2. Stereo version. The Getaria GWS-8 wireless transmitter and receiver are a Mono (1 channel) system. Recommend to create a Stereo version of the wireless transmitter and receiver. 3. Battery Status. Recommend to add a yellow, orange, and red LED to indicate battery status. The current LED only indicated green status. Getaria's instructions and packaging of the GWS-8 are appreciated to include a completely sealed the box with security plastic. I’ll keep an eye on the battery longevity. So far, good. I wished I had waited another week to purchase the GWS-8; it is now on sale $6 off but it was still a good price.

I originally tried this product on a lark, not truly expecting much from it at all. I am now actually amazed at how well they work for that low cost. Not sure I will be rolling the dice and using them on stage anytime soon, but for band practice and home practice and even possibly recording, these beat the crap out of a 25ft cord. I will also note as others have, that these are a tad on the delicate side and I highly doubt they will take even minor abuse. The overall design functions great, but the plastic body could be upgraded to a high impact material of some sort and make a slight price increase worth it. FOR SURE, if you have high-end internal electronic parts, like a really tight jack - BE CAREFUL! You need to be VERY attentive to how you insert, and especially remove these due to their delicate nature. As for range, I can walk away maybe about to the edge of a medium size auditorium venue stage. Any further may be pushing it. Call it around 25 to 35ft? As for the sound quality, and I am a NUT about my tone, I swear, I think it actually got better. And I use expensive guitar cables. So that was shocking. Battery life - Well...I gave that part 3 stars because the transmitter needs an upgrade in that area. It, as it should I guess, lasts about 1/2 as long as the receiver. At least my set does. All in all the transmitter will get me about 3 hrs of play which is fine. But it makes sense to me that they should have made that battery larger so they both die out around the same time. ALSO, not sure if the batteries are even replaceable. First one of these I ever tried outside of my professional BOSS wireless system. And if it lasts a year or two, well worth it for the low cost. If for no other reason than I don't have to hazard my expensive system for practice. UPDATE: As of this week, the transmitting unit (Black) died. You can only hear sound coming through them when you tap on the body of the black unit. Unfortunate, I really liked these for home use. I may have to upgrade this time. Oh well. They were definitely worth the 40 bucks for the use I got out of them.

Everything seem to work as promised. I haven’t used them at a gig, but I have used them at home and in practice as I just received them. It seems to be working as promised and I don’t know if any latency is detectable by human senses. I’m still getting used to being free of a cable. I’ve gone over three hours on them, but came home and changed up. They don’t have a charge level so I want to be sure they are ready for next time. I have tried to see how far I can go without losing the link, but I know 40 to 50 feet is no problem. I would recommend this product as it’s operation and and features work well and better than I expected. Great value for the price. The other guitar in the band got a pricier model, and it didn’t work any better for the money.

The sound quality is not bad. Can I really don't hear the difference from when i'm plucking my string and the sound coming out my amp. I was super worried about the design fitting into my head guitar. Luckily if it perfectly. The hook up pretty easily. And it's nice not having cables everywhere. The battery life's not that great. When they get low and battery , they start disconnecting off and on. I'm assuming at this moment.It's the battery dying that makes this happen. If it keeps happening , I will have to return these. I really love the idea , and I hope they last.

This wireless system has worked flawlessly for over 2 years, nearly 100 gigs, and even one finger fumble drop and kick across the stage! All this time, the transmitter and receiver would charge completely (usually around a couple of hours) and retain their charge - ready to use at the next gig. I NEVER had any interference issues while playing inside bars, music halls, brewpubs etc., where TV remotes and cell phones were in abundance. I've also used it on stage where we had 3 other different wireless systems in use. Again, no issues.... After all this time, the transmitter finally would only perform for about 2 hours/charge. There was no doubt that I would buy the same item when it came time to replace. Already I have used the new system in 2 gigs and rehearsals, and it worked like a charm. During the last gig I used the new system for over 5 hours - no problems whatsoever. I have to say that, in the past, I have had good cables expire with 2 years of on stage use. So having the freedom to move around the stage untethered (upright bass) is a true delight - at a cost just barely more than a good cable costs.

Es sorprendente que por el precio que tiene funcione tan bien. El uso que le doy es para ensayar en casa y la señal atraviesa sin problemas una pared, cosa que en principio no tiene utilidad pero pone de manifiesto la potencia de la señal. La calidad de la señal para ensayar y conciertos de gama media sin problemas, aunque para conciertos de mayor enjundia, con muchas señales inalámbricas pululando por el escenario, podría recibir interferencias. He comparado exhaustivamente la diferencia de calidad con un cable profesional y aunque el cable aporta un poco más de brillo y riqueza armónica esa diferencia es muy sutil y hay que afinar el oído para percibirla. La duración de la carga de la batería es correcta y para conciertos de larga duración, se podría tener una segunda unidad cargada; el precio lo permite. Conclusión: A falta de comprobar como le afectaría el paso del tiempo al funcionamiento y a la capacidad de carga de la batería, es un producto totalmente recomendable.
