Nike Men's Air Monarch IV Training/Workout Shoes

These are often called "grandpa" shoes because they look a little clunky but they are still the best shoes I have found for exercise classes and basketball in that they are extremely stable through the last and I have not had an ankle turn since I started wearing them yeas ago. The bottoms of my feet are sensitive with minor neuropathy and these shoes fit wonderfully and wrap the foot well. The pivot point is great for people who take a cardio, Jazzercise, Shine, or equivalent class in that it facilitates turns, spins, and rapid direction changes.I do have to get a full size larger in Nike shoes (in all Nike clothes for that matter). After a couple of months of heavy use these Air shoes will start to squeak, often quite loudly, well before they wear out. I simply remove the lining from the shoes and put baby or other talcum powder into the tiny holes under the lining and work it into the holes. This has served me well for years to stop the squeak and it has the additional benefit of freshening up my shoes.I have tried numerous shoe brands over the years and the only shoe that came close to the comfort and stability of this shoe is the Strutter from Adidas, which is no longer made to my knowledge and didn't last as long anyway.One thing Nike could do better is to more firmlyvsecure the sole to the body of the shoe. The glue used by Nike to secure the rubber part of the sole is the first part of the shoe to fail, especially if these shoes get wet regularly from rain or wet grass or even puddles when going to and from your car and the gym classes. I can normally get 6 to 8 months out of the shoes and I have at least 8 one hour classes of various intensity a week (and I do my best to keep the bottoms dry!).For those who wear orthotics, these shoes take them well whether they are heel focused, toe focused, or cover the whole foot. I now wear Goodfeet orthotics and they are quite comfortable in this shoe.

First off these are a very comfortable pair of Nike. The design is great and the quality is also great. The sneakers came on time and even though the box was smush up a bit the pair of Nike was in perfect condition. The colour is the same shown on Amazon. The material is awesome and Lightweight. You can wear them all day and still feel good. The versatility is good and the inside is comfortable with good warmth making your feet feel good. The front of the shoe is wide so your toes won't be jammed up. Overall the material is awesome and I will definitely recommend these to a friend.

These are the best sneakers I have had in a long time. Plenty of support for my feet. Well constructed. I do not run or play sports in them, I wear them to work. They are breaking in nicely. I highly recommend them. Sometimes I wear my flip on Sketchers which are comfy but don’t give the support that these Nikes do. Jetsax

This is my third pair of these shoes. I have wide feet and these are perfect. I average about 750 miles out a pair. Comfort does t change for the entire life. Only reason I get another is pair is because the left shoe only always falls apart towards the end of its life. saved 40 dollars vs buy ing in store

I have both the black white/and all black but the black are not the same they are thicker and not as comfortable whyAre the gray like that or like the white black

Everything was good. I just didn’t like the courier leaving them in the hallway downstairs were anyone cause have taken them you need to work on that what’s worse is that I wasn’t notified of the delivery
