Great little clock for the low price. Big numbers that you won't need glasses to see at night and bright enough to be a nite light- but it does have 4 dimmer settings to tone it down

This has been my nightstand clock for 8 months as I post this review. I like that it has a much smaller footprint AND much bigger numerals than my previous alarm clock, which had also gotten very dim over the years. My eyes aren't as good, either, as they were when I bought the previous one, but with this one, I can very easily read the time in the middle of the night without glasses -- or during the day, across the room, although I keep my bedroom rather dark. The display has a nice brightness range, and as I recall, I turned it down almost to the dimmest setting. Green was my color choice, as I find it very relaxing and a little unusual. I rarely use the alarm feature; I just wanted something that was easier to see. So although the alarm sound is a bit harsh for my preference, it doesn't matter to me. I wasn't sure I'd use the extra USB port (the one not used to power the clock). But I do, every night, to charge my smartphone, just making sure to block notifications and calls. For what it's worth, the phone's display says "Charging rapidly," unlike with the USB port on a few other devices I own. I leave the charging wire plugged into the clock all the time, to have one less connection to make. Setting the time and alarm time is pretty intuitive, and the instructions were helpful for my first time or two. And there are clear markings on the back, for when those instructions are inevitably lost. I tested the battery backup (along with all other features) when the clock first arrived, and it held the time as promised, though it can't *display* the time while the power is out. (They are upfront about that in the instructions). I put two new alkaline AAA batteries in it when I received it, and haven't had to replace them. I'm guessing they'll last a couple of years. The clock is very lightweight, but I can move the phone charging cord around without inadvertently moving the clock. A stiffer cord might be a bit trickier, if that's a concern to anyone. My only complaint, a small one, is that the unit I received is very slightly fast, based on a glance at my smartphone's time display each day. I don't assume every unit produced is exactly the same. Although I don't have specific numbers, I would guestimate that it gains about 10 seconds a month. So in half a year, when it's time (in many parts of the world) to reset anyway, due to Daylight Saving Time, it might only be a minute off. I was going to give the clock only 4 stars for that reason alone, but as I think about it, it's not even bad enough to take one star away. I have a DVR clock that *loses* closer to a *minute* a month. But this may be more critical for some people than it is for me -- retired! Overall, very pleased.

Small, as desired. The clock and alarm, easy to set. The amount of illumination, adjustable, from very bright to dim but readable. GREAT things come in small packages! Highly recommend!

This is a great little alarm clock — simple, clear, and easy to use. The big number display is bright and easy to read, even from across the room, and the dimmer lets you adjust it so it’s not too harsh at night. The USB charging port is super convenient, and the adjustable alarm volume is a nice touch, especially if you don’t want something too jarring first thing in the morning. The USB‑C power option makes it feel more modern than a lot of basic clocks. It’s not fancy, but it does exactly what it’s supposed to do and does it well. It is bright and the digits are big enough to read it from far away. But if you want it dimmer, you can easily dim it. There's 5 levels of brightness. I personally like Level 4 cause Level 5 is very bright. Yes, it is plugged in, but I love that you can even place batteries in it just in case power goes out. Of course, it doesn't run on batteries, but it's good to have batteries in there just in case power goes out (I HATE having to go to all the clocks and reset them all when power goes out!) It is very lightweight but it's also very sturdy. The volume for alarm is changeable and can get loud if you want it. I got 2 of these for 2 different rooms and I'm VERY happy with them. I was a little skeptical of buying it due to the price. But I ended up loving the product.

I don't normally write reviews this quickly, but this alarm clock impressed me. The purpose of this clock is to replace my phone alarm and to not have a phone by my cranium at night. It's just the right size, with a large enough display for aging eyes. There's nothing hugely technical about the clock, it just tells time and has one alarm time ~ purely practical. What is sweet is the display brightness can be adjusted. Like the brightness, the alarm volume can be adjusted. Buttons on the back for the settings feel solid, not cheap. The clock doesn't have a clue what the date or day of the week it is, so you will want to disable the alarm when needed. While there is a generous snooze feature, I sort of wish they had an alarm off button on top. The clock is powered by a small transformer that generates a 5VDC source, a cable then plugs into the back of the clock. A pair of AAA batteries can be used to store clock settings. I've used it well over a week already. It's simple and effective. I cannot comment on the durability, it feels like a solidly built product and seems like it will last. I'd feel more confident with a standard cord and have the power supply within the clock. ⏰

Exactly what I wanted and more. Has multiple lighting modes, and brightness levels. Two different USB style ports, and easy to program the way you like/need 12hr or 24hr time. I love that you can turn the brightness all the way down but still hit snooze whenever to check the time. Great for adults and children. Hopefully it lasts.

Love the size, slim design with large digital to read without my glasses during the night. It's nice to adjust the brightness too. Great product and value.

All the features work perfectly. Just discovered I can't deactivate the alarm for vacations etc!

Like: good size of display yet very compact. Brightness of display is very good. Accuracy is perfect. Dislike: very expensive, should have one third of the price. USB jack at the back protrude out making it very difficult to mount on wall. You may Neel an L shape USB adapter to reduce the gap between wall and device. Overall a good buy if you are willing to spend the money.
