This is not a cheap puller, but my teenager was able to safely and easily remove a trombone mouthpiece that had been stuck for awhile. He now has 'peace of mind' that when it happens again, he will be able to remedy the problem rather than wait for me to drive him to a music store. He also now has the confidence to experiment with other mouthpieces and is practicing a lot more. I don't know how easily other pullers work, but I'm glad I followed the advice of other reviewers and bought this one.

The Bobcat Mouthpiece remover quickly removed stuck mouthpieces from a trumpet and a trombone for me. Very easy to use. A bonus is that it's Made in the US. It seems a little pricey, but buying cheap tools never seems to pay in the long run.

This product works on Bach Megatone and just took a walk-through on how to use it to do so. Don’t buy cheaper mouthpiece pullers for the Megatone mouthpieces!

i avoided the cheaper models due to poor reviews. spent the extra money for this and glad i did. instrument had fallen off work bench landing on mouthpiece. it was totally jammed into lead pipe. this product had it off in less than a minute. don't hesitate to buy this one. worth the cash.
