Every home should have this.
If you love your TV, every home should have it. This is an imported product by Amazon.in. available in India. Working with Tata Play Set-top box. No problem. See the pictures. It will protect your TV from thunderstorms. It is little bit expensive but worth to buy. Thank you 😊 💓.

DTH no issues, surge protection not tested.
- Not sure if it really works. No idea how to test it.- DTH signal passes through without issue.- Purchased this to mitigate risk of lighting and surge signals. hopefully it never comes to that.

very good material. Does what it should do
Looks perfect. To judge if it protects from lightning surges, I have to wait for a decent storm.

Works great in combination with a grounding block, recommended by Antenna Man
I had installed an OTA antenna outdoors (instead of in the attic), and although it was attached under the eaves and not that high up in the air, I got leary about all the thunderstorms in our area possibly getting through and frying everything inside the house, and decided I needed to ground both this outside antenna and the coaxial cable, as recommended by electrical standards. So, I used this VCE Coaxial Surge Protector in series with the RG6 coaxial cable grounding block made by The Cimple Co. and installed both between the antenna (an Antennas Direct Element Uni-Directional UHF VHF Outdoor TV Antenna) and a Televes 560383 TForce Mast Preamplifier Single Input (we are lucky in that all our local OTA TV channels come from one location). This VCE Surge Protector of course went AFTER the grounding block. All of these parts are recommended by Antenna Man.I then ran two separate 10 gauge solid copper wires from the antenna grounding block and this coaxial cable grounding block some 75 feet to the house's main grounding connector.Everything worked great, I didn't lose any of the 140+ OTA channels that we get from this grounding process.A few comments on the one star reviews:I dunno how well this would work for cable internet. I have fiber internet.People complaining about this device not protecting their electronics from getting fried are most likely either NOT putting in the additional grounding block and much harder to install 10g wire to the house ground, OR, they are not surge protecting the power supplies to their internal house electronics.People complaining about losing TV signal strength are probably not using a good quality antenna preamp (the Televes preamp is the best one I have ever used, and I have used three other different brands), and/or they are not using a powered splitter to feed their whole house (I used the 9 Port Bi-Directional Cable TV Splitter Signal Booster/Amplifier). Unpowered splitters lose far more signal than this grounding block will.

OK...
