Excellent for Thrips
I am experienced enough to know that I should never bring new plants in amongst my established plants until after I have quarantined them. I forgot that rule a few months ago and brought home several rosebushes from Sam's that were infected with thrips. The thrips spread to all of my other roses. I fought for weeks spraying regular first with Pyrethrin, and then with insecticidal soap. Using those every 5 days for a couple of months did not get rid of the thrips, but they hurt my roses. Finally, I tried the Dead Bug Brew with spinosad which I had hoped to avoid because bugs can and do develop resistance to it if you use it too often. NEVER use this more than 6 times in any growing season from Spring all the way through to Winter. Anyway, I used this twice. The first time I did it correctly, and immediately after I sprayed the roses, it rained like mad. So much for that treatment. Once the rain moved out of the area, I sprayed again, but this time I used less of the Brew than I was supposed to use. I only used 50% of the recommended amount. I figured I wasted another treatment. However, to my surprise, after the second application, the thrips were gone! In future, I will use Dead Bug Brew over Pyrethrin and insecticidal soap. I should mention I have used Neem Oil in the past, but I will never use it again. It comes with too many problems. It can seriously damage your plants in sunlight. Plus, it really smells awful. I do not recommend it. I doubt my rosebushes will return to full vigour until next Spring/Summer. The Pyrethin and insecticidal soap treatments for two months were just too harsh on them. Wish I had used Dead Bug Brew first.

If you have Lilly beetles give this a try
If youโve ever dealt with those annoying red lily beetles destroying your lilies, you know how frustrating they can be. I decided to give Captain Jackโs Deadbug Brew a try, and it has worked great for me. It has really helped keep the bugs off my lilies so I can actually enjoy the flowers instead of watching the leaves get destroyed. Iโve been very pleased with the results. If lily beetles are a problem in your garden, this is definitely worth trying. Iโll be keeping it on hand during lily season!

Safe for anthurium
Really seems to work for thrips, easy to apply and Iโve only sprayed once and they seem to be all gone! I was worried because I havenโt found anything thatโs worked and this does. Highly recommend and there isnโt any Odor like neem oil so you could spray it anywhere. I have a lot of anthurium and have sprayed on new emerging leaves with no problems at all. Just havenโt done with led lights on so proceed with caution

Works so far.
Used to to kill leaf miners and caterpillars on my citrus. Worms were dead after a day. Gotta wait and see on the leaf miners. Easy to mix with scale in the cap.

Works very well
Wow,this really kills the bugs. I sprayed my yard and bushes for chiggers (spider mites) and applied 2xs, 3 days apart. Worked very well but I noticed fewer pollinators this year in the garden so I will use it more sparingly & only on the worst insect problems like chiggers & ticks.
