When did this product replace the old celluplex thickening serum? celluplex was fantastic, i think most of the positive reviews were for celluplex.

It was several years ago.  I bought the old Celluplex by the DOZEN bottles, and when I went to buy more this year, I learned that it had been discontinued.  The newer formula is watery and doesn't perform any where near the older. You can buy the older on eBay but it has gotten pricey.   In my search for a replacement product I tried SexyHair Big Blow Dry Volumizing Gel, 8.5 Fl Oz, and Marc Anthony Instantly Thick Hair Thickening Cream, 6 Ounces.   Both gave volume but the Sexy hair dried out my hair a bit.  The Marc Anthony takes getting used to because it is a cream, but it gives soft fullness, less stiff than the Celluplex!  It takes a small amount- nickel size blob on hands, rub together and comb fingers through hair.  I blow dry and use a Callista Perfector to flip the ends and I actually like the results better than the Celluplex.  I just ordered a dozen!  Can't beat the $6.99 price!  Good luck in your search.

Can anyone compare this to Nioxin thickening spray? Does it give the same results as nioxin?

Is this a fine mist or a lotion?  This company use to have a fine spray mist..or a thick serum that weighted my hair down... which is this?

This product is a light serum. It doesn’t spray out. You need to put it in your hands and rub it in. Seems to work good but definitely not a spray.
