Smells like Christmas
At first I thought the candles were plain white wax surrounded by a thin layer of bayberry scented wax, but I was wrong. The whole candle is scented with bayberry, right down to the heart of the wax. I can't say it's natural bayberry wax, but whatever it is smells wonderful even after I blow out the wick. Bravo!Now all I need is to plan some bayberry bushes so I can collected the berries and make my own bayberry candle wax.

Smelled great, but burned poorly and spilled wax everywhere
Did not burn well and spilled wax everywhere. A total mess. Threw it away after 2 burns.

Very strong scent, but nice appearance
The color, size, style of the candle are nice, BUT, the scent will knock you out! Whoa! Very fragrant, in a strong, cheap perfume way. Bayberry is supposed to be subtle, with a tiny hint of another fragrance, such as nutmeg or cinnamon. Not this one - It is sitting outside, hoping it will air out!

While the candles did have other scents besides just bayberry, I was pleased as it's a family tradition to burn this particular scent each year at Christmas.

Just received 2 bayberry candles & mine have no fragrance at all!! They're just green candles.

Bayberry Scented Pillar Candle 3x6 .
Burning Bayberry candles has been a tradition in my family for many years. It seems that all stores that used to carry them in Minnesota no longer do. I'm glad there is still a place to get them... These last a long time and the scent is just right and not overbearing.
