Can't Stop Won't Stop Foundation, 24h Full Coverage Matte Finish - Medium Olive

The softest makeup brush I've ever used. This one brush, which I've seen so much hype on, completely changed my makeup look. My previous brushes left a lot of streaks and no matter how much I tried to ignore it, it really did hurt my face using it. But this brush is soooo soft I always look forward to applying my foundation because of it. No streaks, no patchiness, and no poking! Its for sure worth the money and you wont regret giving it a chance! Very sturdy also, its made of great high quality material 👌

Tip to prolong use of this product at the end of this review. I've purchased this NYX Can't Stop Won't Stop Full Coverage Foundation many times. I have fair skin and find that the shade Alabaster works well for me as it isn't too dark or orange but also doesn't white wash me out either. I find that in some cosmetic brands the lightest foundation is still a bit too dark for me or just not the right shade. I believe this brand offers a few good options for fair-skinned people, it may just take some testing to find the best one. I like that this foundation is vegan and cruelty-free. I also like that there isn't any strong scent with it because I don't like using cosmetics that have much smell to them. This foundation offers good coverage and is buildable. I apply it with a damp real techniques foundation sponge by tapping it into my skin and it applies very evenly, easily and quickly like that. I wear it on top of a lightweight SPF moisturizer (Eucerin) and a primer (ELF luminous putty primer) and it works well over those. I then set with a powder (ELF halo glow). I don't find the finish of this foundation to be too matte/drying, but not greasy either. It feels comfortable over my moisturizer and primer and doesn't ever feel too built up. TIP: When you use up most of it and not much or nothing comes out of the pump anymore, you can still get several uses out of the bottle if you just twist the lid so that it is no longer aligned with the bottle (you can do this with lid on or off) and then pretty much just force it off by pulling/bending the top and the bottle away from each other until it pops off. If this is too hard to do by hand you can also use pliers or something, but I've been able to do it by hand. Just be careful and maybe do it in your sink so if it pops off suddenly you don't get makeup flinging anywhere. I've gotten used to doing it in a way where that isn't a problem but until you've done it a few times. I then just turn the bottle upside down and shake the product down onto my finger (or whatever you want to pour it on) and apply, then repeat as much as needed. NOTE: I recommend popping the lid back on for storage so that the makeup doesn't dry out inside between uses and you get all you can out of it. To me it isn't difficult to remove every time until it's gone.

This foundation turned out to be a lucky mistake, because, although it was not the right color for me, it’s perfect for my daughter, and she loves it. I wanted to get as close to Estée Lauder Double WeR in 3W1 Tawny as possible. “Buff” looked like a pretty good match online, but when I got the bottle I could see right away that it was too light. I tried it on my face and I was very impressed with the liquid-to-power texture, the buildable coverage, and the attractive finish. It’s more sheer than what I wanted, but it is definitely a gentle, natural-matte, and if the shade had suited me I may have called it a win set. I was looking for an everyday, less-costly alternate for my most favorite foundation, Estée Lauder Double Wear. I have been looking for this illusive “alternate” for over a decade. Sadly, nothing ever came close, and I have spent more money on primers and powders to make the cheap foundations wearable, than I spend on just using my Double Wear everyday! This foundation looks beautiful on my daughter. It covers pores and acne beautifully, it doesn’t oxidize, and it truly does last throughout the day. I wish this foundation had been available when I was young, because it has good ingredients and it’s not clay-like, the way old matte foundations were.

Warning this sets quickly, so you must be fast when applying/blending it. I got the light porcelain and it is beautiful on my pale pink skin. The coverage is buildable. It is a very good price for such a generous amount. The texture is creamy and it is easy to apply. It doesn't settle into my lines either. I am very pleased.

This is a really nice make up. It’s full coverage Matt finish. Doesn’t look dry on my dry skin.

I’ve been buying the product from Amazon for a few years and still have the same problem the pump stops working after a while. I’ve purchased it from Shoppers Drug Mart and have the same problem but great coverage

Bought this shade by looking at different online swatches, and I’m so so happy it was a perfect match for my light-medium olive skin tone without being too pink or yellowish! For reference I’m ard NC20-25 : ) Regarding the coverage I wouldn’t say this is a full coverage foundation, but it has a decent medium+ coverage on my super oily skin, leaving a beautiful and natural finish without being cakey like wearing a mask. It’s cruelty free too! It’s not completely transfer proof, but most of the foundation is still intact at the end of the day. I lightly applied setting powder on top of the foundation, and only slightly blotted my face late afternoon. This may not work for very dry skin ladies, but it’s a decent drugstore foundation for oily ladies. I would say it feels like wearing a lighter coverage version of Estes Lauder double wear stay in place.
