This distribution block works as good as the more expensive blocks. Easy to add power where several wires are located, makes for a very neat, easy to maintain central connection. It is more compact than the more expensive boards.

Works great for intended purpose

Well made, good quality, nicely kitted up (stand-offs, etc.), but I find the lay-out inconvenient for wiring since + and - terminals are on opposite sides of the board. That means your hook-up wiring has to either straddle the circuit board, and/or split positive and negative leads before accessing the board. It would be much better to mix + and - pins on the same side of the board. If the split layout works for you, then great, but not for me - hence four stars. To be perfectly fair, it it was 100% of my fault for not looking closer.

The design of this product is straightforward and simple, just the way I like it. There were only two problems. Problem number one is that this product includes plastic standoffs that are not attached to the board itself. In my case one of these standoffs fell off the board as I attempted the install. Fortunately I happened to have extra standoffs around. But be careful with that. Problem number two is that this product uses a system where you PRESS the wire into the sockets and the socket "hangs on" to the wire. This is convenient for solid electrical wire, but it is bad news with awg 16 stranded electrical wire as there is no way to shove it in. I had to pry the flanges open in order to insert the wire. After that everything worked fine. But just be aware that you may have problems with larger gauge stranded wiring. Smaller sizes should not be a problem but 16 and perhaps 18 awg might be a problem. Otherwise I am completely satisfied. I am using this product for solar voltage sensing devices.

Simple, sturdy, and a good price point makes this a good deal

Needed to power several low voltage leds that are in structures on my model railroad. I mounted a couple of these to distribute power to these lights. They are sturdy and easy to use. I will probably purchase several more to distribute power to switch machines.
