To be honest I wasn't a Nicki fan in the beginning. As her style changed and her music changed a bit, she stood out to me a lot more. I started liking more of her new stuff and when I heard about this CD I was hesitant to buy. DO NOT BE. I am so glad I bought this CD and preordered it to get it on release day. I have not stopped playing it since I received it. Her talent, her lyrical genius and her voice are all very powerful on this cd. I did not expect such an amazing album but I couldn't be happier. Everyone else that has heard me play it is now going to get it to haha. Do not miss this album.

Had so many cool tracks any Nicki fan would love this cd

This is my first purchase of a Nicki Minaj album and I am not disappointed at all! her album is a mixture of Hip-hop, R&B, Rap, and probably some other genres as well (I am about 2/3 of the way through the album)! My only disappointment is that this version is not the explicit version, which makes me sad because in my opinion I want every single lyric as possibly if I am paying for it. I was unaware that edited meant it was redacted for explicit language. New to buying CDs from Amazon.com I just figured that meant it was edited to sound better to something. Oh well, my mistake. If it says anything, I like this album so much I am highly considering punching the explicit version as well!

Pills & Potions (The lead single from this album) - This was the return single of sorts, after about a year and a half of no new solo material, and so, for it to be this track was a bit of a letdown. It's mid-tempo, droning, and a bit too repetitive. The message of the song ALMOST works, however, she can't stay vulnerable for one full track without bragging about "Benzies and envy" and the fact that right after that line, the sole mention of Pills and Potions outside the chorus has to do with popping pills to show off to the haters....contradictory to get people to believe this is a "Love" song where the verses are not completely related. Not terrible, but not amazing either. Also the Pills and Potions are meant to cross promote Beats By Dre Pill & her newest perfume, making this song mostly a subliminal commercial. (2.5/5) Anaconda - Oh goodness, THIS track. All of the controversy over it, from the VMA outfit, to the cover artwork, to the video, to the "she's such a feminist for this" perspectives...all over a song that barely offers anything other than a very mediocre mixing of a Sir-Mix-A-Lot sample. Nicki gives two very short verses, and the rest of the track is repetition of the bridge, chorus, and a HORRIBLE minute long cackling ramble at the end that does nothing but bring down the already questionable taste-level of this track. A song purely meant to capitalize off of the well-known size of her ass, and the nostalgia bomb that is "Baby Got Back". Catchy? Sure, but when you stand back and realize that it took SIX PEOPLE to write those 2 verses, it's pretty pathetic. (1/5) Only (feat. Drake, Lil' Wayne, and Chris Brown) - This rap is mainly two things: a brag rap, and "Man, isn't Nicki Minaj hot?!", which is something that everyone involved in this track, have done so often, that the only way to make it relevant was to stir controversy, and for those who've seen the lyric video, you know exactly what I'm talking about. Also, all of this "are they or aren't they a couple" thing that both Nicki and Drake have been half-assedly perpetuating for around 5 years now, needs to end. Make no mistake, it wasn't the media that stirred this up, they started those rumors, and only just enough to keep people talking about it for this long. At this point, either consummate or shut up. The only interesting thing this track has going for it is the beat. It's extremely catchy, menacing, and effective to the brag aspect of this rap. Otherwise, it's basically filler topic. (2/5) Bed of Lies (feat. Skylar Grey) - Wow. This song is powerful. Especially when you consider it's about her ex Safaree Samuels and her feelings regarding his cheating and her personal struggles during and after the breakup. This is what Pills & Potions SHOULD have been, and what I know she's capable of on a larger scale. Every line works here & the choice of Skylar as the chorus feature was brilliant as she adds to the somber and emotional tone to this track. Even non-fans can appreciate this song. Well done (5/5) All Things Go - If you thought "Bed of Lies" was a hard hitter, this song is the ultimate deepness. Here we talk, not only about Safaree, but also about her cousin (Nicholas Telemaque) who was murdered in 2011 (she referenced this in the song "Champion" back on Roman Reloaded, but only vaguely), distance that has come between her and her family due to her ascension into high fame, and even an abortion she had at the age of sixteen. There's nothing negative I could possibly say about this track, it's haunting, hard-hitting, and, as the album opener, really lets the listener know that this isn't the Nicki the casual fan might be used to. (5/5)

Time flies so fast. I obsessed with this era so much.

I absolutely LOVE this album!!! Anything Nicki releases is bound to attract me! Highlights: -All Things Go -I Lied -The Crying Game -Get On Your Knees feat. Ariana Grande -Feeling Myself feat. Beyoncé (not my favorite, but the beat is pretty sick) -Only feat. Drake, Lil Wayne & Chris Brown -Trini Dem Girls feat. Lunchmoney Lewis -Anaconda -The Night Is Still Young -Pills N Potions -Bed of Lies feat. Skylar Grey -Grand Piano (one of the most mellow, pretty songs she's sang) -Truffle Butter (iTunes Exclusive) feat. Drake & Lil Wayne (the beat is awesome! every time I hear it, I just wanna get up and dance) All and all...just an awesome album! Complete perfection Nicki! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANY NICKI FAN!!!!

This is my favorite Nicki Minaj album!! I have all these songs on my iPod and I just had to get the CD. Yes, I still listen to CD's, mostly in my car and this is a triumph for her, truly. You hear her rap a lot but she she has a beautiful singing voice, too! One of my all time favorite albums!

Item came damaged in the corner. Unfortunately I opened it to check the disc so I'm sure I won't be able to exchange now. Either way, it shouldn't have been sent damaged.

Als Nicki Minaj Fan hab ich mich natürlich wahnsinnig auf das neue Album gefreut! Das Warten hat sich sowas von gelohnt! Ich wurde absolut nicht enttäuscht. The Pinkprint ist in meinen Augen ein Meisterwerk des Hip Hops. Deutlich besser als die Vorgänger Pink Friday und Pink Friday - Roman Reloaded! Für mich definitiv eines der Highlights 2014! All Things Go - 8/10: Den Song kannte man ja schon ein paar Tage vor dem Release. Der Song zeigt Nickis Verletzlichkeit perfekt. Man bekommt einen perfekten Vorgeschmack auf das Album. I Lied - 9/10: Der Anfang ist unglaublich schön. Nickis Stimme kommt hier wunderbar zur Geltung. Und da soll einer nochmal sagen Nicki könne nicht singen. Ein super Song. Emotional. Real. Authentisch. The Crying Game - 8/10: Der dritte eher ruhigere Song auf der Album. Dennoch nicht weniger gut. Tolle Strophen von Nicki und der Refrain ist ebenfalls wunderschön. Get On Your Knees (Feat. Ariana Grande) - 10/10: Eins der Highlights auf dem Album. Richtig geiler Beat. Nickis Strophen sind einfach auf den Punkt. Aber das absolute Highlight ist natürlich Ariana. Tolle Stimme. Toller Refrain! ABSOLUT TOP! Feeling Myself (Feat. Beyonce) - 6/10: Auf dieses Duett haben alle gewartet. Doch ich wurde leider etwas enttäuscht. Mich spricht der Song nicht so an. Beyonces tolle Stimme kommt leider nicht zur Geltung und geht eher unter. Für mich einer der schwächeren Songs auf dem Album. Only (Feat. Drake, Lil Wayne & Chris Brown) - 10/10: KRASS GEILER SONG. Hier finden sich vier absolute Ausnahmekünstler zusammen. Der Beat von Only ist einfach unglaublich gut. Chris Browns Parts sind definitiv die Highlights des Songs. Aber auch Drake und Lil Waye stehen ihm in nichts nach. Einer der besten Songs, die Nicki je gemacht hat. Want Some More - 9/10: Jetzt wird es bisschen härter. Want Some More geht schon eher in die härtere Hip Hop Schiene. Sehr verrückte und abwechslungsreiche Melodie. Nicki zeigt hier wieder einmal, dass sie die Queen of Rap ist. Super Stimmungslied! Four Door Aventador - 7/10: Guter Song, aber nichts Besonderes. Album-Filler wurde ich sagen. Favorite (Feat. Jeremih) - 7/10: Nun folgt ein sehr gutes Feature mit Jeremih. Favorite ist auch wie Four Door Aventador nichts Besonderes, dennoch ein guter Song. Buy A Heart (Feat. Meek Mill) - 8/10: Buy A Heart ist für mich definitiv eines der Feature-Highlights auf dem Album. Meek Mill kommt auch später auf dem Album noch einmal vor. Wirklich geiler Song. Trini Dem Girls (Feat. Lunchmoney Lewis) - 10/10: Dieser Song gehört eindeutig zu meinen Favorites auf dem Album. Nickis Bridge ist unglaublich geil. Der Beat verleitet einen regelrecht zum Tanzen. Man kann einfach nicht stillhalten! Anaconda - 11/10: Anaconda ist für mich der Ultra-Song des Albums! Geiler Beat. Geil gerapt. Einfach super Song! The Night Is Still Young - 10/10: Ein super Gute Laune Song. Erinnert ein wenig an die Zeiten von Starships und Pound The Alarm. Perfekt zum Ausgehen am Wochenende. Läd zum Träumen ein! Pills N Potions - 10/10: Die 1. Single und für mich auch würdig hervorgehoben zu werden. So ein toller Song. Der Refrain ist einfach wunderschön. Schade, dass es nicht mehr Erfolg hatte. Dennoch TOP! Bed Of Lies - 10/10: Nicki hat hier mit Skylar Grey ein Meisterwerk erschaffen. Skylars Part ist so wunderschön, dass man dahinschmelzen könnte. Nickis Rap-Parts sind dagegen härter und forsch, trotzdem ergänzen sich die zwei wunderbar. Grand Piano - 1000000/10: Für mich eindeutig das schönste Lied auf dem Album neben Anaconda. Ein Song komplett ohne Rap. Nur Nickis Stimme im Vordergrund - begleitet von einem Piano. Einfach unglaublich schön!!!!! HIGHLIGHT!!!!!!!!! Deluxe Edition: Big Daddy (Feat. Meek Mill) - 10/10: Klasse Song. Perfekt zum Twerken! Einfach geil! Shanghai - 11/10: Das Highlight der Deluxe Edition. Sehr außergewöhnlicher Song. Verrückt. Einfach Nicki! Win Again, Mona Lisa und Put You In A Room sind alles super Songs. Typische Hip Hop Songs eben. Stechen leider nicht so heraus, wie die anderen Songs der Deluxe Edition. Insgesamt ein wunderschönes Hip Hop Album. Für mich persönlich das Highlight des Winters 2014! Nicki hat sich hier selbst übertroffen! Gratulation!!!!
