Great product, perfect size for 1:48 scale mode aircraft!

EZLine is much easier to use than regular thread, and looks nicer too. Since it stretches, it does not bend the parts to your model when you are trying to place it. Using super glue, and then a super glue activator, makes attachment a breez. I will use it from now on in modeling. The small diameter line is nearly invisible when placed. So, the larger diameter line is better, since it shows up better. If EZLine ever comes out with a even larger diameter line, I would use it also in certain areas of modeling. One person commented on Amazon that the line is not really black, but gray. However, when you place it on your model, it looks BLACK, as we usually want it. So, that comment was not really representing the product correctly. Again, this is really a good product, and I am glad that some YouTube videos turned me on to it.

After several failed attempts to rig model ships in 1//350 scale, I tried EZ Line for the first time I find EZ line to be excellent for rigging plastic model ships, as long as there is not too much tension applied to the line. EZ line can be stretched to several times its original length, but will then distort and bend plastic yardarms under tension. Instead, pull it just tight enough to tauten the line, then a dab of superglue to the attachment point will hold it in place. You can see a couple of places where superglue touched the EZ Line, causing it to distort, such as the port side of the funnel.

EZ Line Fine Black works best for rigging smaller scale models from 1/350 scale to 1/48 scale. It's elastic properties allow the user to quickly rig up ship or aircraft models in these respective scales for a professional look. This product works well with super glue. This is a versatile, high-quality product.

I have been using a variety of materials to simulate rigging on aircraft; cotton thread, nylon line, stretched sprue. Using this EZLine product simplifies rigging aircraft considerably. The elastic properties ensure that your rigging will be taut, it is limp making handling simple, and it can be secured with a number of adhesives which will not attack the material (I have been using thin CA). The attached image is a 1/144 HP 42 tail unit - the diameter is a very reasonable compromise between scale and workable. Very glad to have found this product.

This is an awesome product. I was hesitant to purchase because I thought I might be able to home make it, but not a chance. This is a very thin, elastic "rubber band" like material and attaches easily with super glue. And it looks awesome for aircraft antenna!

Got it faster than expected, always nice. Just what I needed for my diorama. This is a large tugboat. Then scale of line is perfect for rigging. Note: if you are working on 1/72 or higher scale you may want to get the larger lines. It does stretch aswell. Like rubber which is nice to keep things tight.
