What is the difference between kidney restore and kidney shield products?

Thank you for asking this question. Healthy Kidney Inc currently offers two products for cats and dogs with kidney disease.

The two products are Kidney Restore For Cats & Dogs and Kidney Shield For Cats & Dogs.

Kidney Restore is a powder that provides 7 types of kidney toxin consuming probiotics at 50 billion per serving, plus prebiotics to help the probiotics grow and consume more kidney toxins.

It also has a very small amount of sodium bicarbonate to neutralize acid build up. A very common problem when the kidneys are damaged.

It has vitamin B3 which is a natural way to lower phosphorus. A mineral often elevated in kidney problems causing more issues. B3 is a natural phosphorus binder and also is very helpful for the heart and balancing cholesterol levels.

Is this a replacement for potassium always prescribed for cats with renal failure or does it act as a binder removing toxins from blood?

Hi

Thank you for asking the question. This product works to support healthy inflammation response in the kidneys. Thereby, reducing toxins in the blood and supporting normal kidney function. It also has two antioxidants in it to support kidney cells. It doesn't directly lower potassium, however when the kidneys are more supported potassium will be in a better range.

How many 1/4 teaspoon servings are there in a bottle?

Thank you for the question. At 1/4 tsp there is 384 servings per bottle.

A 1/4 tsp dose may be appropriate for a very small cat or dog. Generally, you would want to use 
higher amounts to achieve a therapeutic effect. However, I am not sure if you are mixing it in something, etc.
