Worked well for a beginner
I am a modeling begginer and this is the first time I used this putty. I don't have a comparison to share. However, I found this very easy to use. It does shrink a little when it dries and I needed to use a second application to get it to hide a gap. It cleans off well with water. I found that letting it dry some before cleaning is helpful to keep from gouging out putty with my damp cotton swab. I'll stick with it because it's easy to use and works.

Great product, super easy to apply
I've used a number of "liquid" putty products (Green stuff & alternatively branded compounds, other Vallejo products, etc.) and this one is by far the easiest to apply. The squeeze bottle has a narrow-enough tip to allow for some accurate application, and is easy enough to squeeze that you can get a steady amount - great for filling long straight cracks in assembled pieces. The only downside is the long curing time, but its not so far off other products on that; just have to wait a substantial amount of time before sanding or else it is still a rubbery texture.

Good but only in specific instances
This putty works great IF you understand what you're getting and how you'll use it. First off, this putty DOES NOT dry rock hard as the description and bottle says it does. As others have said, it dries to a "rubbery" consistency and isn't really sandable. It is water soluble so you can remove excess putty with water. Knowing those two things, I use this putty for filling small gaps or fixing deep out of scale panel lines. Here's how I use this putty. I take a toothpick and cut one of the sharp ends off. I then take a pair of pliers and compress the end to make it flat, like a small trowel. I put a small amount of the Vallejo putty on the flat end of the toothpick and work it into the gap, adding more putty as needed. I wait about 10 - 15 minutes and wipe away the excess with a damp cotton swab, leaving the putty in the gap. The goal isn't to build up a large amount then sand it down but to get the putty into the gap where it can harden. To test the line, I airbrush a layer of black primer over the gap. If more filling is needed, I repeat the process. So far, I've been able to get pretty decent results.

Versatile; Good Quality
Versatile and good quality. I mostly use it to fill in the hollow spaces on broken 3D prints - to increase the surface area for gluing the pieces back together. Definitely recommend

Works great. Easy application and clean-up.
I think I have found the right putty for my modeling needs. Easy to apply, cleans up with water, dries fast, and sands smooth. I highly recommend this product.

As close to magic as I've ever experienced in a product.
I own a beautiful, 1999 Heritage H150 electric guitar (Heritage’s BETTER version of a Gibson Les Paul) and I decided to refinish it. It required much more sanding than I expected and as a result, there were a number of areas on the plastic binding in which I literally sanded all the way through to the mahogany wood beneath. Short of replacing the binding altogether, which would have been an onerous job, I purchased this product as a last resort. I didn’t think it would work because I didn’t think anything could work to repair these areas. To my surprise, with patience and a steady hand, I have been able to restore all of the worn areas of the binding. Regretfully, I believed I had such a lost cause that I failed to take photos of how bad it looked before I did the repair. So, the best I can offer are photos of the completed repair which far exceeds what I hoped to accomplish. The first photo shows the headstock area from the front to provide context as to how a thin layer of binding is designed to provide a surround for the headstock when looking from the front (the audience view). However, when viewing from the position you would see while playing the guitar, the second photo shows the areas that were almost completely sanded away. But you wouldn’t know it because they look perfect. This stuff was easy to work with and it blended in such a way that you can’t even tell where the original binding was and where the repair is located. I couldn’t be happier.

Good for relief details but doesn’t dry stone hard; essentially a modeling paste
First off, this does not dry stone hard as advertised. Instead, it dries quite rubbery and a little flexible. This makes total sense upon closer inspection of the ingredients: acrylic resin and marble dust. Essentially, this is a tiny bottle of acrylic modeling paste and performs very similarly. So if you were looking for a liquified version of an epoxy putty like Milliput, this will not perform to your expectations, but if you are looking for a smaller container of modeling paste and are familiar with how to use modeling paste, then this is what you are looking for. It should also be stated that, like many modeling pastes, the sandability is very, very moderate. You must use ultra fine sandpaper and a gentle touch, and even then, it’s gummy to sand and can easily peel away. I think it would be safer to skip sanding and instead get it as smooth as you can on your model before it dries. If you’re planning to use this as a filler product, be extra diligent in wiping away the excess before it dries so you won’t need to sand later. Also, like acrylic modeling pastes, any additional water contact will soften and remove it, so keep that in mind if you are a hobbyist that washes your models between prepping and priming. It does excel at relief sculpting (it paints on wonderfully for tiny veins on people and animal figures) and is great for texturing hair, mud, etc. Bear in mind it will shrink a bit as the water evaporates, so be prepared for two passes of application if needed. I think for the price and size of the bottle, you’ll get a better deal buying a jar of modeling paste from an art store, but if you only need a little bit, then this is good for relief sculpting and texturing. As a liquid putty though, if rigidity and sandability is needed, it is probably best to avoid.
