These things are perfect, Dishwasher safe. Great grip, not too big, not too small, good looking, easy to use. As always with durable goods, buy these when they go on sale.

Started to rust after two handwashings
I’m surprised that only after using twice and hand washing, it has two rust spots below the handle! I thought Hampton Forge was made better than that

inexpensive GOOD knife
I originally bought one of these Epicure knives at Walmart in 2011. It was supposed to tide me through until my shipping container arrived with all of my personal belongings (I had moved). I paid about $8 for the knife. It served me well. Last week, the knife broke - the blade literally separated from the handle. I threw it away and then decided to buy three of these from Amazon. I was amazed to see them at an Add-On price of just $2.99. I received the new knives and they are sharp as hell. I know they won't stay that way, but heck - for three bucks you get a nice knife with a good weight that is quite versatile. If you're looking for an inexpensive knife (not some fancy-schmancy set that will cost you hundreds of dollars), then buy this knife. You won't be disappointed.
