Big Smelly Bear

Loved this book since my last child. Bought the hardcover one for my grandchild. You will love this cute story about a bear who needs to take a bath. Its is very funny if you know how to read books to your kids lol

My six-month-old DS really enjoys this book. It's nice and big, so he can explore all the pictures. The artwork is really interesting. If you've ever seen tear art, that's how I might describe it--lots of layers and angles to each image. Really cool. The story is entertaining and fun, and I'm sure will be useful as Babe gets older and doesn't want to bathe, as seems to be the case with most boys. It also teaches good lessons about friendship and honesty.

Who doesn't like to read about a big bear who stinks up the forest!? The only part about this book I am not terribly fond of is when the two bears have a little shouting match of "no I'm not!"/"yes you are!", mostly because I try not to encourage shouting loudly to win in a disagreement. However, overall, the pictures are adorable (better in the hardcover version than the board book) and the story is sweet as well as encouraging good hygiene! I imagine bid smelly bear as having a voice like you do when your nose is stuffy.

My toddler daughter loves this book. It’s cute and funny, even I get a kick out of it. That makes reading it over and over easier.

I like reading this book with my daughter. It's a fun story and the illustrations are adorable. This is a book I'll order extras of to use as a kid birthday or baby shower present.

Sturdy little book with a great story.

This was a perfect book to support our 5 Sences unit! The kids laughed at this book over and over!

Oh, Big Smelly Bear doesn't like taking baths and all the forest creatures avoid him like the plague except one very special fluffy bear. Just see what she has to say to Big Smelly Bear! Will he take a bath if it means he might gain a friend? My preschoolers LOVE this very cute and easy to read along picture book! It is among our very favorite books at my childcare!

Fun book

Big Smelly Bear likes being smelly, until one day he has an unscratchable itch on his back. His new friend Big Fluffy Bear suggests a solution. A lovely book about friendship, and the joys of taking a bath.

Big smelly bear does not want to wash until one day he meets big fluffy bear and everything changes. Pages made of cardboard almost indestructible in kids' hands. Recommended age 3-5 years.

Great book for my son he loves it nice bright pictures inside and find it a good way to get him into the bath as i would say "do you want to be like big smelly bear" :P
