Nice unit, easy to operate.
A very nice unit. The price was under half of what comparable models sell for. Its simplicity is elegant. Although it is a portable unit, its portability takes nothing away from its use as a permanent structure. I have been buying records I had as a child. Aaaaaaaah . . .such memories this unit has instilled on me. I have looked at many youtube videos of old records being played, and a lot of them use the exact same record player. Mine is teal, love the color. It even comes with the small record adapter. It has a lever for picking up and dropping the stylus. The record does not turn until the stylus is over the turntable. Sound quality is good, loud enough to hear it from another room. Listening to the old records my mother used to play for my brother and I more than 50 years ago takes me back to those carefree days, something I would not have done if I had needed to pay more for a record player.

Worth every bit of the 40 bucks.
This is amazing for a 40 dollar record player. The family is delighted to be able to play some old records. My teenagers are amazed and intrigued. They've started buying their own albums. The onboard speakers and not terrible, but not anywhere near amazing. They are adequate and charming, but will not let you hear the music in its full fidelity. Still perfectly fine for fun tabletop listening. You can always hook the player up to external speakers if you want... but my kids actually prefer the onboard sound. This unit is a steal for 40 bucks. It's an excellent first step to see if you might want to collect vinyl. We might end up getting a better turntable someday, but we are having a blast with this turquoise beauty.

Great for the money, Better than expected for the price range!
This record player has a better speaker than I expected, still isn't great but for the price range it isn't awful. I still ended up buying cheap speakers, however it is uneeded if you are using this for portablility. One thing I dislike is the record players rotation plate, It os quite wobbly and can (not im my case but may be in others) morph the vinyl causing sound distortion. I recommend a new rotation plate, they are very inexpensive and are worth the investment. Overall great record player!

An alright beginners record player with a few flaws
Where do I start with this record player. Firstly I want to get this out of the way but personally I love it, it is portable, it is fun to use, and it’s visually appealing. And as a note for those who wonder what it means when it states that it’s superior because of it having a Diamond stylus allow me to explain. Now there are three styluses, Ruby, Sapphire, and Diamond. A Ruby stylus lasts fifty hours, a Sapphire stylus lasts sixty five hours, and a Diamond stylus lasts one thousand hours. Now despite its promotion of having “better” sound quality it has that staticky hiss in the background on the quiet parts and it’s obvious it’s there depending on how loud your album is. And part of me wishes you could close the suit case while playing the vinyl inside it so dust doesn’t get on it. But if your on a really low budget I’d recommend this. It’s got a Diamond stylus and it can satisfy your needs, but it will likely collect dust because it doesn’t allow you to play with the suitcase closed so I’d recommend you’d have cleaning supplies for your records on hand if you plan on using this. Overall I’d give this 4/5

the bluetooth one...
Bluetooth doesnt work the way you might think. Its a recive only. Meaning it works as a bluetooth speaker. It won't connect via bluetooth to give your record more volume. I initally got the non bluetooth for my husband, and he loves it! It's been going good for a few years now. For our anniversary this year I thought I'd upgrade with a *new* blue tooth one. The 1st one I ordered wouldn't power on. The second one I ordered speaker was super quiet even at max volume. The light for power worked when I 1st plugged it in, then stopped working. Either I have bad luck or these are crappy made. I bought brand new.

It's inexpensive and seems to work okay.
I bought it so I could get and play old, out of print records. My use of turntables and record players goes back 60 years--this one reminds me of my first record player my parents bought me when I was 6. So I could take my little kids records in my room and "CLOSE THE DOOR!" The mechanisms are way more modern, the sound is stereo vs mono, and the stylus is surprisingly good. Does look a little old school, but the sound, even out of the speakers, is acceptable. I have a set of decent cordless earphones, they'll eventually get plugged in, so I don't disturb my 92 year old Mom who lives with me. I've had $300 turntables--the kind that only work if they're plugged into a system. This is only very tangentially related to those. But even my fancy old turntables from the 70's wore out, mechanisms broke, and stylists were expensive. If/when this one breaks, I'll recycle it and get something else. I don't expect that to happen soon, I really don't play much vinyl. But it's nice to have to listen to acquisitions for the used book place and from thrift shops & yard sales. I don't need fancy anymore.

Missing A/C Adapter and came broken
Came without the power adapter / cord :( only the audio one... And the needle "lever" came lose, it's broken. I got an AC adapter from a nearby store, the broken lever is not letting the needle hold, skipping parts of the songs often. This sucks. The product feels like a cheap material and it's like everything is going to break. I don't recommend this at all, it just looks good. Did they sell me something used for full price?

You get what you pay for, but it’s not *bad*
Its not bad for its price, audio isn’t perfect but you get what you pay for and its honestly not *bad* quality audio either and it’s pretty cute looking and more compact than some of the other models out there.

I got this to try as it seemed decent quality, had a good price point, and looks pretty good as well. I got good sound out of it, but better when I plug it into my full speakers. It plays records pretty well, closed up nice and looks good when shut as well. Would recommend for a starter set.

Very good and cheap, the sound quality of the speaker are not that bad, they are loud, do not expect the lows. AUX output works fine but stll there is no lows(bass) ever connecting a subwoofer. Bluetooth connection is very good. For this price, this product does it's job very well.
