SeaSense Telescoping Flag Pole

Fit perfectly into my 2001 Bayliner 185 Capri. I would not recommend having this on when going over 20mph. It was very close to falling off several times, which is what I suspect happened to my last flag pole. That is a little annoying, but not that big of an issue for me.

It's nice to have a convenient place to stick a flagpole into the White All-Around Navigation Light connector. Could possibly place a light atop of this.

Flew out while cruising at 25 knots

I read the reviews about this pole being insecure and easily coming out. That was not my experience. If installed correctly, the black plastic band at the bottom of the pole secures this pole into a standard anchor light receptacle. It is very secure. We used it with a dive flag and forgot to remove it. I did not notice until we were doing 30 mph across the lake. The flag was whipping but the pole was not going anywhere. Others must not know how to secure an anchor light as this is just an extendable anchor light pole with flag attachments. I am very happy with the purchase.

used on a 24ft sea ray and went 30 mph with no issues...used a 12" x 18" flag did not come out of socket. just make sure to push the black locking ring all the way down.

Works great with my flag! Some said they had problems with this coming out, but it has been rock solid for me up to 25 or 30mph.

Would not fit in my nautical light socket. This pole is too big of a diameter. It also has two socket holes in the pole whereas my boat has a three prong set up. I packed it away to return it in our boat bag. When I stepped out at the dock, the pole sunk quicker into the depths than Davy Jones to his locker. $20 wasted.
