Perfect Replacement
Bought these to replace an existing set that were getting a bit wobbly. These were fitted into my parents loft with relative ease. They do come in lots of parts but the instructions are clear and easy to follow. Took a couple of hours to fit by myself. They are sturdy and work really well. My elderly parents are really happy with them and they make going into the loft so much easier with the treads being flat.

Sturdy, but steep!
The ladder is sturdy and well made. However, having got used to the old metal ladder which allowed a gentler incline, I do find the lesser incline nature of this one very difficult. I understand that wooden ladder will be more upright to lessen risk of high pressure on the wood, but it can be a little scary. The unfolding and refolding process isn't very easy either, and requires a bit of strength to achieve.

Perfect
Really easy to install. Instructions supplied are OK, but watched a video on YouTube as well which made everything clearer. My trap door was damaged once inspected so I contacted Dolle via the amazon site. Their response was superb and sent a replacement which I received the following day. More than happy with the product and even more so with the customer support from Dolle. Just added a little trim around the edge to finish it off.

Can't fault it for the price
The fitting instructions are a touch difficult to Follow but persevere and all will become clear ,the ladder is perfectly stable .

Take your time installing and measure twice
Wasnt quite the size advertised so need some packing around the outside but it can be installed by one person with time and planning. Works great now it is up and feels more comfortable than the old aluminium one because it has wider flatter treads. Good value.

Dangerous: latch deforms and will just open and hit you
This is dangerous it will just fall on your head when you open the hatch. The latch deforms after a few uses and no longer holds the ladder up. If you know this and you’re careful you can stop and lower it but it will brain you otherwise. See video! Good ladder sturdy and fitting ok though instructions leave something to be desired. But has fundamental ans dangerous design flaw.
