Electriduct Cable Shield Floor Cord Cover CSX-1.5 PVC Wire Protector 58 Inch - Wood Grain

I'm currently working on my little office setup and I needed some cable covers to achieve a minimalist look. I had an idea of what I was looking for since I just needed the cable covers to hide one power cable at a time. I purchased the smallest size of these cable covers with the appropriate lengths. I ordered these longer than I needed with the idea of cutting them and placing them in different areas. I purchased two brown cable covers for my wood linoleum flooring. I must say that the brown color on these match and work very well with a dark wood floor. I also bought one white cable cover because I wanted to paint it and use it on my actual wall. I was skeptical at first about painting the white cable cover but I found out that the PVC material is very durable and it also allows paint to stick to it without having to prep or sand the PVC. If you have any cutting tools like a power saw or even a hand saw these covers should be easy to cut to provide a custom size and fit. The adhesive on the backing of the covers seem very strong and stick to the floor very well. I wasn't sure if these would be able to stick to the wall and hold up but surprisingly they did. The paint on my wall is semi gloss and these covers stuck very well. I'm confident that these will stick on the wall without having to secure them with anything else. These cable covers seem to be made out of good quality and for the price I really think they are worth putting in the extra effort to achieve a good looking cable management system. The cable covers can sometimes be a little hard to snap into place but with a little force they will eventually lock into place. They are very easy to unlock so if any issues with your cables occur you can easily replace them and snap the covers back on. I really liked working with this material and it made things simple and straight forward for my setup. I definitely recommend these cable covers, don't be afraid to get creative these covers are very durable and for the price pick up a longer length so there is more room for error.

The color we purchased completely matches our floor. And I mean completely!! It's behind the couch next to the front door it runs the same direction as the wood flooring, I know it's there and I trip on it all the time. NOT bad tripping, it just keeps surprising me! LOL We have an outlet on either side of the floor and will in time put a larger entrance rug and have one on either side to the side table lamps because I love this thing so much! It was easy to get the cord into it, I did not use the adhesive because we haven't figured out exactly where we want it to be, but it definitely keeps the robot vacuum from chewing up my cords!! Highly recommend!

I will say I was unable to use this, however, it was b/c I must not have read the description well. This is a very Hard cord cover, does not bend and very small opening for wires (who knows perhaps I can use at home office). So be sure to read see measurements and the opening measurements. Overall very well made product, however, I would have needed approx. 3 or 4 and would never be able to fit the HDMI cables through it b/c they were thicker. I was impressed, however, with the strength of it and would have loved to use it.

I bought a two pack but the two I got were quite different in terms of the adhesive. One was a little bit of a dud in terms of adhesion. But my surface is a bit irregular so i have to take that into account. But there was still a big difference between them for some reason. One not very sticky. The other one was seriously sticky. So one stayed up and the other one fell off the wall. Also the mail package was ripped up and taped up. I’m surprised it arrived at all. One was a little scratched but not a big deal. They do look good and were easy to slide together. For the one that is not so sticky, I will have to come up with something. But overall I am happy. I do wish there were different lengths. I wanted longer but would have to buy the extra long and cut and it was just too pricey. I went short. I also wished I had gotten a smaller one but the measurements on the page were not so clear. Update one week later… both fell off the walls so i had to use screws to hold them up. I have put up cheapo led strip lights on the same finish and they haven’t come off. No idea why this didn’t stick.

This model (CX1) is not the same as the CSX2 model. It will *not* fit a standard power strip cable. Only good for smaller *flat* extension cords. If your cord is round this item may not work. Having said that, I was able to modify it to work using electrical tape to hold the pieces together for a round power strip cord ..the gap is very minimal and therefore does not look too bad. It would have been nice had it worked properly from the start though. Also, others were commenting for various products that this arrived coiled and was hard to straighten, etc. I will say this arrived straight and required no extra work to get it to lay flat. I am 50/50 on this product. It does as it should for tiny cables, but anything which can't even fit a basic power strip cable is somewhat pointless in my opinion. 2.5 stars would be my rating.

Unfortunately, the builder did not install a floor outlet in our open floor plan family room. I purchased this cord cover (CSX-1) to hide the extension cord connected to our reclining sectional sofa. It worked beautifully. I was afraid the adhesive bottom wouldn't adhere to our porcelain tile floor but it did. It's a solid hold. We have gray oak porcelain tile so there wasn't a color to match that. I purchased gray oak wood contact paper via amazon to cover the cord cover and it worked beautifully. The cord cover (and contact paper) worked so well, we decided not to purchase battery packs for the sofa. We didn't want to have to worry with charging the batteries all the time and the battery packs would have cost about $500 for 4.

I got the CSX-1 and it is a bit smaller than I thought cause you know... I din't bother to measure anything. I was only looking to hide 1 of those flat airconditioner extension cables and it just to say fits. Sticks like a champ so far to tile floor. Protip: Check with wife before choosing colour. Apparently brown was wrong. But it still works.

Not as big of a space as I was expecting. It is a very cramped area to fit 3 speaker wires. The quality of the cover is very good.
