Happy
I ordered 3 pieces and was initially was a little disappointed when they arrived. One is an almost solid bark-like piece and the other two I felt were only marginally more fun. I had planned to use two pieces in my 20 gallon aquarium and one in my starter snake tank. Boiling was a process. I boiled, drained the murky water, and boiled again 4-5 times over the process of 4 hours. The solid piece never did stop making the boiled water dark as coffee but I felt I had reduced the tannins enough that I could accept a little brown in the aquarium if it happened. After placing the two pieces in the aquarium I'm actually really happy with both. The solid piece has a lot of character under the water and both are a perfect size and color. They both have just a tiny bit of bouyancy but do not float after boiling. I'm giving them some more time to become completely water logged then I'll set them how I like them and arrange the plants on and around them. I'm very happy with them. They arrived pretty clean and any dirt or dust was easily removed in the rinsing and boiling process. 24 hrs in and my tank is not any murkier, I do have a carbon filter and accu-clear so that may be of assistance to anyone who is having problems with tannins in the water. They're a HUGE improvement to the aquarium and my fish actually does interact with them and she's normally not the sort. I have not used the third piece yet as I have not set up the planned snake tank yet.

Great value and beautiful selection
So- I just got this but as soon as I opened the package I was in love. There are 3 good PCs of wood. You can stack them or they can be molded together. They are like a Puzzle.... the PCs were selected well. I boiled them for 1 hr — changing the waters halfway. Then I emptied the water and let them sit overnight in the pot (with fresh tap water cold). In the morning it was not as dark like tea! But slightly tinted yet. I boiled the wood a second time and repeated! Again the water at first when you boil it? It’s dark like tea..... but I do think the 2nd boil is needed to release more tannins. And to avoid your aquarium being tinted. So I’ll let them cool now and throw them into aquarium once I glue some plants to them. Totally worth the $16. You get some good sized PCs. The longest is maybe 7-8”. Not bad at all!!! I’d buy again for sure!!!! Ty for the vendor to ship it fast also. You done well!! Btw the wood wasn’t sinking in my aquarium right away (after all the boiling etc). But I think a day or two and it’ll settle down.

Boil the Wood as stated in the description
Like the organic shapes though one piece was sawn off on one end which is disappointing as I was hoping for a natural look and feel for my aquarium. I actually came back to complain about the level of tannins in the wood. I had been soaking for three days and still during the water a dark brown. I read further in the description at the very bottom they state the tannins are intentionally left in the water to lower pH levels. Additionally, it states to boil the water 3 times for 1 hour intervals. I'm setting up tomorrow so I did just that. On the second boil right now and the color has dramatically lessened. I would have given 5 stars for this product other than the sawn off end spoiling the organic look I was hoping for. NOTE FROM DESCRIPTION 【NOTE】The dirftwood releases tannins to help soften hard water and lower Ph. Boiling in water for 1 to 2 hours with soda or salt ,the water color will become dark.Boiling the driftwood with water again ( recommended 3 times, 1 hours each time ) until the tannins totally releases.

Smaller than we thought, rotten wood
These were a lot smaller than expected. One of them fell apart as soon as we took it out of the package. I understand they are real wood, but they were not as expected.

Nice shaped driftwood
Will buy again! The 3 pieces I received were cool shapes, and the sizes were nice. Figured I’d write a review because I’m pleased. Can’t show picture because they’re already soaking in water.
