Things to know! There are two kinds of refills that both say Parker Quink Gel. See pictures. The gray package contains 5 star gel ink refills. They are smooth, consistent, and dry quickly. They are metal and sturdy. The white package contains 1 star gel ink refills. They are scratchy, inconsistent, and a pain to write with. They are flimsy plastic. The issue - sometimes I get one package and sometimes I get the other! It’s a gamble. Even if the listing shows pictures of the gray (good) refills, I sometimes get the white (bad) refills. If I get the white package I just return them and try a different seller. Even if it’s prime, check who it’s actually being sold by so you can try someone else if you get the cheap version. The good ones are worth it to me to play this game. I don’t know why there are two of the *same* kind. Maybe I’m missing something.

dark, smooth writing ink. Good flow, without any clumping or skipping. It's definitely blue, but a strong formal blue, not a bright giddy blue. My four refills came in two two-packs. One of the refills was missing the plastic protective clump on the ball end, but it wasn't dry. Also, all four were covered in a sticky clear slime, like perhaps they were frozen and thawed a couple times, or were shipped in a plane. Whatever the case, the leakage was clear, and didn't appear to affect the viability of the refills. Just annoying. I'm using them in Parker Big Red rollerball pen with adapter, but they're a standard Paker ballpoint refill size. They'll fit a Jotter fine.

I was given a special pen that I love using and the original ink ran out. These are the perfect fit for the pen and I will be good for many writings

I bought a four pack 9 months ago. The first refill performed well, as expected. The second refill leaked inside my pen and spread ink all over my hands, and necessitated cleaning with alcohol. Today, the third and fourth refills completely failed to flow ink, apparently dried out, a defective ball, or unfilled with ink. This is a disappointment for a loyal Parker pen user of 55 years without a single problem. I plan to send the two failed refills to Parker, not for a refund, but for investigation into their quality control.

Parker Gel Refill is one of the best on the market. The challenge is that they can deteriorate with time and temperature. The refills I received are working well and seem fresh. There is also a free return option, but they work which is what I want and need.

I thought I would save money by purchasing other brands of ink refills for Parker Pens but I was very disappointed with the quality of the ink--I was unable to write on ALL paper surfaces. After months of frustration, I decided to go back to Parker Pen refills. No more frustration.

Realised that it came leaking some ink. But not really a problem. After wiping down the excess ink that leaked out, there isn’t any noticeable leak or damage. Still writes well.
