Fantastic, pumps even in the shade.
This is a great quality solar panel. I have had a few other small trickle panels and a cheap flexible plastic one (total waste of money) and I am really impressed with the power and quality of this panel. It is really too strong for a trickle panel, but i find I can put it in the shade and it works fine with less power and it will totally charge up a "dead" car battery in no time (paired with a cheap charge controller, made mobile safe by hot glue gunning wiring points). I bought a panel this strong because I got a great sale price on it. Very worth it. Small enough to be portable and easily moveable and will fit on my dash even and large enough to really kick ass, charge up a lead acid battery and all my 5 volt usb lights and devices. Great for camping. My only problem with this panel on the onset was that it came with Renology MC4 connectors attached and I had trouble deciding whether to buy more of those or rip off the MC4 connector and just convert to 12 volt automotive water proof connector I already had on hand. For my uses, I was better off without the MC4 (a waterproof rating not size rating) I decided, and I finally pried them off and converted to the 12 volt auto connector, but the psychological block really impacted my project.

Good quality solar panel...
Nice solar panel, with good connectors and a sturdy frame. Power output meets specs. A perfect panel to power our gate opener.

Renogy Rules, Others Drool
I bought the 50-watt panel on an Amazon return for a measly fifty bucks. Purchased to keep a FunWatt Portable Power Station charged while on camping trips in the Northwest USA. Works great, and even under partially cloudy skies in the Seattle area, I was getting 40-42 watts out of this thing out there in the high country. Completely clouded over, it was still giving me 12-15 watts which was still enough to charge the power station. So I was pretty happy. I see a lot of poor reviews of the THIRTY watt unit, but I can't attest to all that. I know my 50-watt panel was very good, came with the MC4 connectors, and works great. Since this purchase, I added a 15-foot extension line, a splitter, and a 30 amp controller. Now I can charge a big deep cycle battery out in the field, and the power station at the same time. Woo hoo. Construction seems very solid on these Renogy units, and you are better off any day with monocrystalline than poly...which just isn't as efficient. Don't try to save a few bucks going polycrystalline. Do the Renogy mono instead. Until you experience the free power provided by solar, you don't know what you're missing. I'm not planning to convert my whole house to solar anytime soon, but if you want to power an outbuilding enough to run a computer, a fan, and a few lights, solar is the way to go. You kind of add a little to your household here and there, without increasing your power bill.

Excellent quality
Excellent build quality on this module, good MC4 connectors, performs well. Corners are a bit sharp but that's the case with most of these types of panels. Pleased with purchase.

A quality panel.
No way the condo association was going to let me put a panel on the roof, but maybe they would look the other way if I installed one in a window? They never said anything about my little 10 watt, so I decided to upgrade to as big as would fit in the lower half of a double-hung window. That would be a 50 watter. I looked around and found a great deal on a Renogy, well under the benchmark $1/watt, so I ordered it, along with a 35ah sla battery for a sink. My setup is far from ideal, with the panel vertical, shaded for half the day, and actually behind the screen in the window, but none of it seems to matter as this panel just keeps putting out the power. I'm very impressed. My little setup should tide me over the occasional power outage, running a fan, a light and a computer. When my neighbors see the light shining in my window while the rest of the neighborhood is dark, maybe they will want panels of their own. And if enough of them discover the benefits of solar, we can take over the board and get a proper rooftop installation done.

Works great, a bit pricey compared to others
Very clean build, and works flawlessly. Was having issues with my solar powered driveway gate and this panel definitely keeps the voltage high!

Well built solar panel
Can’t beat Renogy products. This arrived well packaged, mounted easily with not supplied mounting brackets, and I am happy. My experience, Renogy products cost more but are of the finest quality out there.

Most sturdy cost effect method of free electricity charge all USB devices
I use this to charge all my USB devices. Laptop, phone, lamp, mini water pump, fan. You need two things: A buckboost converter with USB output, and a wire to connect the MC4 on the back of the panels to the converter. I can recommend Greenly MC4 to 8mm and Drok Dual USB Buck Boost converter. Together around $20-30USD and then you can charge via USB 5v or 12v. I would then recommend buying a portable battery bank that takes 12v 1.5A USB c input.
